Maybe running side tournies during official tournies is a bad idea. Seems like there was a lot of GG and 3s to Melty Blood crossover. I say run Marvel as a side tourney, and set a time for side tournies at the end, so people can leave after major tournies or stick around 'til the end if they want dessert.

Lets not start this again. Melty actually doesn’t have too much crossover. Plus it doesn’t use any tvs. So really its easy to throw in. I definitely will be pushing to include it this time aroud. Marvel will of course return, not as any “side tourney” but as a full tournament. The biggest problem is time. Last time we had the time budgeted fine. But people didn’t show up until like an hour and a half after I said to get there. That really threw the schedule into a fit. Hopefully if two days is cool with people than none of that will matter.
It will be a pain to get 2 days off… at least for some people.

That’s one of the guilty gear players that was at my house last. He did play a bit of ST, though, if I recall correctly. He’s the asian guy with the cool korean(?) stick he got for like a nickel.
We realize it will be a pain. That is why we are
- Asking about the viability for people to do this, hopefully without snide comments…

- Giving you tons of advanced notice to ask for said two days off.
