Seattle event is still in the earliest planning stage, we haven’t even found an affordable venue yet.

I think he means that the PR surrounding this tournament was handled less than ideally, as evidenced by the drama which eventually resulted in your not attending.
Meanwhile: I don’t see any reason why we should delay it 'til summer, especially since people will probably want to have some money for Evo and all. June might be a good compromise.

Exactly what I meant. The number of potential entrants was diminished by the drama involving your attendance (or lack therof. Not that I’m blaming it on you). Also, I’m sure that your attendance, which I was lead to believe was in a large part due to the way Melty Blood was handled, would have changed the outcome of a tournament or two.
