Just read this awhile ago. Gonna have to locate my Magnavox Odyssey, and play it in tribute.

Did they bury him in a region locked, exclusive to game developer’s cemetery?

1958 is significantly earlier.

yeah but did he play cvs2?

otherwise not important :wtf:

Not Japanese hence not true.

Nice to see another Odyssey owner.

I remember reading about him for the first time in my Guiness Book of World Records 2008 Game Edition. His contributions were a very interesting read.
R.I.P

Gamasutra interviewed him years ago: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/130108/the_right_to_baer_games__an_.php?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+GamasutraNews+(Gamasutra+News)

**
Quoted for the truth, this man is father of videogames, and the first interaction with the screen.**

Baer helped design the first modern home video game console, that all of today’s consoles are based on or influenced by-- not “the video game.”
