Only managed to get one game of SF4 in (I think I was the only Fuerte there), game seems to run a bit quicker than on 360/PC. I messed up my loop against a Bison every time I had a chance. Only won one round. Oh well, it was interesting. I had a ton of fun playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom with my brother, was a little surprised noone else seemed interested in it at all except that one girl who was pretty good at it. Was fun though, I think if I go back to GW though I will try to do it on a night that isn’t so cheap/crowded.

I really need to stop using the fourth button on my SE stick for 3P/3K.

Not even sure who I talked to I didn’t really fully introduce myself to anyone, I ran into a guy that I used to go to HS with but I am not sure if he is on SRK or not.

Yeah normally Spider Jerusalem wrecks people in TvC. I have yet to beat her in that game except for once by luck

did you play against justin s blade? black dude that has a nasty akuma if you beat his ken or ryu. had i known people were up there on 3s i wouldda came up

yeah i took rounds from his ken and ryu but never won a set, was having trouble getting those timings down from too much GGPO, lol. never got to his akuma, though, although maybe i would have had a better chance against it since i play makoto. lol

also was funny seeing you walk in as soon as my friends and i walked out. how did you get that sick parking spot man? right across from the gameworks on a cheap meter? haha my friends and i had to drive around downtown to find decent parking since we’re rarely down there and have no idea where anything is.

Man, that was rough. I went to Gameworks since my coworkers went there to play drunken Rambo, and I was hoping some bad high school students or someone would be there, but sure enough it’s the all stars of king county dominating the machine

I didn’t realize how much harder it is to play at the arcade either, since you don’t have a chance to warm up and the controls are pretty beat up, then you come up against some guy who just stomped 10 people in a row…

I was sitting there with some of my friends visiting from out of town, trying to get onto X-Box Live on my brand new 360. Over the course iof about half an hour, I tried every handle I’d used in the 10 years I’d been on the internet before that while we all got more and more frustrated

Finally, my friend says to me, “Ray, I’m going to tell you a handle. It’s going to be an awful name to bear, but I guarantee that it’s not taken…”

Yeah, it’s a little ridiculous, but a great way to put something on the line and fight for it. Plus there’s a lot to be learned by just watching.

Though, we need to make a sign up sheet or something. I’m about to piss my pants half the time in fear that going to the bathroom’s going to lose my spot.
