I sent him a message afterward saying thanks for the laugh and this is going on the wall of shame. He sends me a message back “u welcome runner” (notice he’s using Zangief). I wonder how he got to 42000 gp using Zangief and I’m the first opponent that ever kept my distance from him. I would expect this in g3.
An angry flowchart Ken with a 10% DC ratio ragequit on me today. Then he sent me an angry message that said :
LOL!!! I just love ragequitting insecure virgin racists on XBL!!
But I guess I get what I deserve for playing a guy with that high of a rating…but I was a jubilant soul and thought perhaps he will have a change of heart, but I was wrong…
This is false. I have 3% disconnect and haven’t ever plug pulled, maybe like 2 or 3 actual connection disconnects.
I get credited for other peoples DCs and what are probably server side DCs (you know, those ones in between rounds) very frequently. I’ve also had the other guy DC, then I somehow lost over 100BP, frequently.
How hard would it be for the game to figure out that since I didn’t disconnect from PSN, I didn’t plug pull? Seriously, major oversight.
For some reason , I’m unable to fight SpeedyFighter again for a rematch. I nearly beat his Gouken with Fei, and every since I keep getting lost connections at the lobby screen everytime I join his game.
Yes, it is a PSN problem. Sometimes at the start of the match it would DC at the animation of the character, before the fight is even started. Also people go in unstable connection and then see 3-5 bars and chose to fight … this will also cause disconnect problems. I’ve had up to 4% and nevered pulled the plug … now its back to 0% so i guessed they fixed it or something.
O yea dont get me wrong sometimes i do go in unstable connection and it turns out really well, sometimes even better than those with stable connections.
Not the best idea really as i have been accused of disconnecting which i have never done it just happens somtimes when the connection closes for no reason very annoying. But i do agree with you all when somebody actually does it on purpose i mean its only points at the end of the day.
I have also never intentionally DC’ed or raqequit and mine is at 4%. I generally dont pay attention to the percentage, but I would be a bit suspect at anything over 10%.
If it doesn’t happen on Xbox or PC then I’d say its a fair bet PSN is somehow to blame, yes. But the suspicious part is that you only get DC’d from the match, not PSN. Maybe its more a problem with the PS version of the game rather than PSN itself.
That same charliebrown guy quit on me the other day, I thought it was just because I was timing him out every round with akuma but looks like he makes a habit of it.
