Haha I remember this guy. We faced in Championship Mode, we both chose Bison and I won and took the points. He messaged me not even a second after complaining about how he’s not good with mirror matches and how I had a sloppy Bison; giving advice to the person who won? Rich.
My biggest mistake was accepting his invite to a couple of Player matches because he wouldn’t stop messaging me within and after the matches. All I did was constantly spam Double Knee Presses, wouldn’t stop taunting and took it all as a joke when on the contrary, he was playing to win. I eventually shut him up.
I think I still have the messages saved.

Seemed to remember the name and Chun from the last games I played about a week or so, whooped my ass. Anywho, with a little more practice against Chun, there wasn’t much he could do about Elf. He came back for a rematch (in CE mode), and rage quit during my winning ultra in the 2nd round. Since Elf wasn’t finished shouting his success, I went ahead and sent him a “flying giga bustah” message = p.
Apparently, he’s featured in some youtube videos, commenting on his near G1 glory.

I was facing him, and before we were actually friends, before he decided to call me a n***er cause I kept getting perfects on him.
wasn’t sure if I’d get banned for posting the pics of the messages he was sending after every match, but it was the same story as one of them above. i was playing around, using vega, Ryu, etc. He gets mad and goes “THAT’S IT” chooses Sagat and still loses. I perfected him, too. Twice (is that possible?) then he calls me that and I say “you’ve gone too far goodbye” and left the room.

Its a respect thing. People are using anonymity and the internet to be poor sportsmen. I think at an arcade it actually wouldn’t be so bad because you would still win and everybody could have a good laugh. Rage quitting does mar the experience and leaves a bitter after taste. Winning “by the book” is definately more satisfactory than winning by default.
I mean, could you imagine a sporting event where one team, who was losing in the final minutes of the game decided just to walk off the field and forfeit the game? There would be blood in the streets.
Its petty, juvenile and rude. Rage quitting is a way to disempower somebody, an attempt to rob them of joy and satisfaction of a game that they like, people are bound to take offense to that… Worst of all there is nothing you can do about it, it’s frustrating, of course people will bitch and moan about it. Its bad for the community, its irritating and most of all its sad to see people who can’t accept that losing is part of the game.
Man now ol’Dpendleton don’t get ragequit on much. Today I was playing Fuerte whom I just pick up. So I am messing around in champ mode and beat this Ryu with mix ups and splashes we get to the second round and I was about to Rey Mysterio his ass and he quits on me. Sleepinfire your a bum. I don’t know if I should be proud or ashamed. I messaged him"U scared of my cooking?"

Some little kid named WillPownYa bitched and moaned at me for about 12 messages about not using his main when I beat him 3-1 and decided he wasn’t good enough competition. My friends and I were entertained at least. We kept feeding the fire and his messages got funnier and funnier. Good times.
