im on psn, check me out. I used Zangief for time attack and survival of course. Hard Trials took me forever, I’ve had the game about a month with 150 hours gameplay. I suck at the game, hard trials can be done by repetition.
I am not on psn.
My point is that if you couldn’t get ten ranked wins in a row without cheating, there is no fucking way in hell that you nailed every hard trial in the game.
The hard trials are not just repetition, many of them require you to develop fairly masterful execution.
These are achievements/trophies because not everyone should be able to accomplish them. It just devalues their worth if it was achieved through shady means. Of course people are going to be hurt when you devalue something someone struggled to accomplish.
Parabellum…I managed to get all the hard trials done but little can be praised about my execution.
Having to disconnect to obtain the 10 win streak?!?! HAHAHAHHAA That’s priceless. That idea has never even occurred to me. Just play player matches, well, even ranked matches. I had a streak of 29 wins going and that was with me practicing on a stick with my 2ndary or 3rd string characters.
yeah well according to the rankings there must be a lot of gief players in the world cause that’s all you see at the top of survival, time attack

It’s called practice and learning. If you put in just a little bit of time and try to learn something about the game, you’ll see that getting 10 wins in a row isn’t really that unattainable. And achievements should be hard to attain. In the end, the person you’re really cheating is yourself. I hope you don’t carry this kind of mentality with you throughout other aspects of your life. If something is too hard, you try to find a way to cheat it. If that’s your attitude towards everything, you’re never going to succeed at anything. That’s the problem with America. Everyone wants instant gratification. No one wants to work hard at something to earn it.
They still managed to pass the requisites. Like beating 40 characters in a row for the survival trials.

they’re not THAT big a deal. i barely know what i’m doing but i can get lucky and mash out all the links in a row exactly once after a few minutes.
You telling me you mashed out Viper’s hard trials or Gen hard 5 or Ken hard 4 after a few minutes would be a flat out lie. A couple of Fuerte’s and one of Abel’s is a real pain in the ass as well.
Well heat6jones, just so you know: It is your right to disconnect from as many games as you want. It’s your game, it’s your PS3, it’s their problem if they get angry about it. a big F U to everyone who treats DC as a punishable crime, they’re mostly the same people who say “online sucks, there’s lag so noone who plays this game seriously should play online” and then get angry at people quitting on them.
they take a lot of time, but you don’t have to be great at the game to do them. watching youtube and reading some comments will explain how to do most of them. some of them are incredibly easy like Seth and Ryu.if you do a move 500 times in a row you’ll eventually land it
if you input a move too fast, the it doesn’t come out, if dan blocks it, you did it too slow. knowing that you can repeatedly try until you get a feel for it. c viper hard trial 5 and ken hard trial 5 where the hardest. doing moves before you jump is a ridiculously tough strategy.

I was responding to Mong00se’s comment. But I’ve already completely all the trials. On pad no less. And there is no way someone is getting through some of these in a matter of a few minutes. It takes a lot of practice for the muscle memory to kick in. Then they become easy. Or rather easier.
Just submitted two lucky Xbox Live users to the wall of shame. One of them was a Blanka user named ModusPwnens718 who ragequit while I grabbed him in Akuma’s Ultra SGS (RD)… In the first round. I guess having Akuma in your face as you’re about to die can be disconcerting. 
The other one was xCHAINEDDEMONx playing a jump happy Gief who ate a full screen FB at the end… He also lasted one round.

do DCers have ther console right beside them or something? my ps3 is across the room on a wireless internet conection…if im that angry and i reely wana quit then i just let the guy win…but i never play ranked games anymore so its not a big deal
I don’t know how it works on the PS3, but on 360 you can hit the guide button on your controller and press Y to go back to the Xbox dashboard, taking you out of whatever game you’re playing. I think most people do that, rather than actually pull out their ethernet cable/wireless adapter/whatever.
Uh, and it’s everyone’s right to judge that as completely contemptible.
but then you gotta go through all the trouble of loading up the game again!..just seems like too much trouble…why bother
