Ragequitters be damned - The Bads Loser Wall of Shame

I like how people come out of the woodwork with “I don’t blame him” when the ragequitter is some regular here who might have agreed with one of their posts once. I mean I’ve played defensive boxers, and it sucks to move in on them, but it’s not like Chun Li has issues with playing a fucking rush down game ffs.

I like how the Chun Li was quitting because oh he got bored of the match, it was just coincidental that he got his motherfucking ass kicked right before the boredom really kicked in. What a crock of shit. Honestly you guys should be ashamed to be typing this shit.

perfect match

I hate it when you get DC’d through no fault of your own (cat pulled the ethernet cable out, severe lag spike etc) and your opponent thinks you rage quitted?

Happened before, he was like “omg u ragequittin dickfag scrub”

"and i’m like “fuck you, I lagged out man how can I do a move then immediately sign out of my account like nothing happened, you have to stand perfectly still”

As someone else told me as well. If you know you didn’t rage quit, keep playing and don’t let them get to you.

Thanks dude but I sort of expect it. The combination of Balrog and patient/defensive play really angers some people (probably those beat by this technique).

As my other videos show, I’m defensive on Chuns and certain Seths but I only sit there IF the other person wont do anything at all…the rest of the time I’m Mr. Rush-down. Call it “out turtling the turtler” if you will.

of course they don’t do anything, that boxer has the head butt of death

That’s no excuse, especially when Chun has one of the best crossups games and a beastly wakeup EX. :wgrin:

sizzlingsanti and vocam4 (both XBL) quit on me tonight in Championship

yay?

to be honest you can just send a request

sayPOKEeye ragequit. Im not even good in this game and some rage quit on me oh btw XBLA

couldn’t have said it better. Any ultra ready chun worth her salt would not just stand all the way back like a dumb ass if rog is sitting there. Thats when you realize rog is aware of the ultra and THATS when you start moving forward and apply pressure. especially when that rog had no meter/ultra of his own, And especially when that rog had the life lead.

why the hell should rog move in that case?

I would generally love to ragequit … screenshots be damned, but the power button on my 360 is stuck. I have to go find some needlenose pliers, which my kids have usually stolen … this creates, between SFIV and some of the assholes on-line and my daughters, a circle of violence and rage …

Haha, me disconnecting ,sore loser? Ok I don’t know who you are but me disconnecting never and who were you using? I probably have your message if you sent one, stop making up crap.

Now I’m not a master at SFIV and I don’t know all the matchups and frame data, blah, blah, blah. But I think the problem with your statement is that you weren’t just defending, you were running away… And I’m not too sure, but I think I played your Rog a while back and you did basically the same thing: took a slight life lead, then just sat. Which would’ve been fine if you’d stood there and waited for me to get to you so you could pound me. But instead you started to walk backwards everytime I stepped forwards. That sucks dude… Again, not too sure if it was you or not, but the way the boxer in the video reacted (and the costume change)… It all seems familiar. If it ain’t you, then sorry for getting you mixed up!

I think that’s the problem with some people as per how they viewed this match. If you would’ve just stood your ground and waited for that Chun to come you and you countered her (which you did once or twice), I believe no one would even take her side. I don’t think anyone would expect you to just walk up to a charge character like Chun-Li, but certainly not run away every time he came after you…

That said, ragequitting is never the answer. Even if I get pounded flat. Even if my opponent runs away from me all game long (which I DESPISE!!), I never quit during the match. There’s just no excuse for it and you did right to expose him.

I don’t know.
I think quitting and ragequitting should be accepted as seperate cases. I disconnect/boot out people who play lame ass Sagats, flow-chart Shoto players and annoying blanka, and honda players.

Akuma, air hadouken, hadouken. repeat.
Ken, hadouken, hadouken, jump-in heavy kick, sweep, shoryuuken, EX-Shoryuuken! repeat.
Ryu, hadouken, hadouken, hadouken, hadouken, shoryuken, hadouken, hadoukey.repeat.
Blanka, blanka-ball x500.
Honda, headbutt x500

I can’t learn anything like that, so I don’t bother.

If you want to learn anything just do player match and play it through so you can decide to keep playing the same person if they are what you are looking for. There is no reason anyone should be disconnecting/quitting in Ranked or Championship. Flowcharts CAN be conquered, if anything it should be an easy win for you.

I can see why you’d think that on the surface but watch it again carefully. Most of that is charging the low-risk lp Dash Straight to build EX or strike from 3/4 which is exactly how you deal with Chun pressure. If you’re not ducking down, you had better be charging back to setup dash-ins. You don’t just stand there as Chun advances to walkup and cr.RH/crossup :nono: Think of it like Guile setting up entry with SBs or Blanka balls. If she backs off and fireballs come out, we neutral/wiggle jump her forward dashes/flip in.

It’s defensive, no doubt, but this is core Balrog/Chun Li strat as I was taught from another Chun. I do see your point though because if you combine it with my patience avoiding his Ultra, it makes for a horrible match to watch! :razzy:

I appreciate your comments dude and that in the end, the quit is really the issue here. It sure wasn’t one of my finer matches anyway. In fact, here’s an HD clip I made a few weeks ago showing how this strat usually works out :karate:

That’s awesome, I bet the guy was pulling the same face as Gouken.

My connection went down twice last night, right when I was getting beat down by two very good players (Howdy deathbynines/doomdomainn)

I look like a ragequitting scrub :wtf:

Lol I know you didnt ragequit… the connection was dipping here and there, so I wasn’t surprised when it just dc’d. It happens.

i disconnected so i could get that 10 wins in a row trophy a few weeks back and I don’t regret it either. I do not expect to have to play someone with 4000bp when i set the setting to same skill for opponent and my bp is under 1000. Capcom needs to fix that.

Other than that though, I don’t see the point of going through the trouble of quitting, the matches are short and meaningless. You can always have another match.
