I was playing Henrock15 in Championship just now (Champ bracket). He got the first round but I came back the second.
Dude rage quits before the round even started… GG for not allowing me to win my first championship in G2.
Edit: I guess his 7k gp was too good for my 2544. Gotta climb that ladder a little faster though…
Once again you have to honestly ask urself. at 1-1 and round 3 aint started, is that consider ragequit or could it be a bad connection ?

I was just accused of ragequitting. I had a good match against a ryu player. The connection drops (shouldnt have been downloading inFAMOUS demo at the same time). I promptly get a wonderful message from the player telling me to “kill yourself”
Even after numerous attempts to message the player and ask for another match no response from them.
I do NOT want that stigma as a ragequitter placed on me.
Is your DC% less than 2%? Do you know you didn’t ragequit? Then don’t sweat it. One person labeling you != ragequitter status.

My dc percentage is 0% and will always stay that way.
I must say, since the new DLC came out a month ago, I have like maybe 5 people DC on me in like 400+ games since then, apparently this little DC ratio worked…
Last night I had some funny shit.
I’m on my second day learning Rufus. I still suck with him, but things are coming along. In about one more week I will have him up to the level of my other mains, but right now I’m still playing to learn, not playing to win.
I get into this match with a guy sporting the Bloody Claw title but he picks chun. Ok…fine with me, I enjoy playing as and against Chun…but I HATE claw. Hate him. Hate!!! His walldive/wallthrow bullshit makes me want to shake babies.
Anyway…so he comes on really strong in round one with Chun. Now, personally, round one is a “feeler round” for me. I am focused on finding out how good the other guy is, so I know how to adjust the amount of risk I am willing to take in the subsequent rounds.
Often as a result of this, I lose or nearly lose the first round and then win the second and or third…as many players seem unable or unwilling to adapt.
So he comes on strong in round one and taunts me.
Now…personally, I find taunting really lame. It doesn’t anger me, it doesn’t throw me off my game, but it does make the other guy a loser (unless he is using dan, who is required by federal law to taunt at least once per round). If you taunt me, I will immediately switch back into playing to win mode.
So, I turn up the heat and murder his chun with Rufus. I didn’t taunt him back, just dealt him a stern ass kicking.
As expected, next match, he uses Claw.
Now…while I hate this matchup, I know how to play it. It was my first time using Rufus against claw, but it didn’t matter.
This fool taunts me, then throws off his claw. 
I beat him down really well in the first round.
Second round starts and I go to town on him, but he gets in maybe three wallthrows, giving me uultra. I catch him after a messiah kick with a jumping RH and combo into ultra…I am halfway through the SOS when he drops.
Nothing in this game feels better than when some idiot taunts you, only to have you destroy him in response.
I agree, I never taunt even if I have a strong lead (not often since I play Vega) or if it’s obvious I’m better than my opponent, because taunting always makes you look like a douchebag.
I know a lot of people like to say “IF I CAN DO IT I WILL IT’S THERE FOR A REASON” in regards to taunting, and sure that’s true, I just don’t see the reason in rubbing things in, if I’m winning I will just win and move on, if I lose I will lose and move on. I see no point in being a twat, and I try to treat everyone I face with respect no matter how the match goes (unless they’re retarded ken scrubs, they get no quarter)
and don’t hate on Vega he’s got enough problems in his life!

Very very rarely I will throw off the claw and pick it up again if it’s safe, to reset the “x amount of hits before it falls off”
my dc is at 2% and not once did i quit from a game. stupid ass psn keeps dropping me from the championship mode OUTSIDE of games. like it will dc me from the server after a round and it still increases my dc %. yesterday i said id play through one more tournament before i stopped playing. i got to final round about 6-7 times and it dropped me from the server at the finals EVERY SINGLE TIME. as soon as i won the semi final match it says ‘lost connection to some crappy ass server’. or it may just be my internet connection but i have fios so i dont know why that should be a problem.
The other night I was playing against some dude, can’t remember what his online ID is. The connection was so bad (almost slideshow status) that both of us just ducked, jumped and taunted for the entire first round, without ever trying to land a hit. Cracked me up laughing. (I know, people like me shouldn’t play online.)
He disconnected halfway through the next round that we actually fought. (Not saying he was a bad loser, because the match really was unplayable.)
Wow I played that guy as well and he ragequit on me like you. Sent him an “lol wut” message just to see what happened and he sends me this voice reply filled with obscenities. I simply responded with a “u mad” and he asked for a rematch.

Finally had a rage Quitter. Kelso712 on Xbox Live today. Pretty damn good Ryu and he beat my Akuma first time around. After playing a few more games in Championship mode ran into him again for a rematch and was ready to take him out in the third round and DISCO…
wow… It was a fucking lagfest, at least a full second delay to say the least. All you did was lariat and SPD out of the blue because of lag. And to top that off my controller was not configured properly and all i had was fierce, roundhouse, jab and 3x punch on a hori ex2, because it was set on controller config. (no lie)
I was just frustrated and DC’d like a scrub. True to that.
I will be glad to play you in some non laggy player matches and face you fairly. Sorry i dropped, but i was totally frustrated. I just shut off my xbox right there.
