My bad for accidentally quitting on you today (5/8/09). I run Live through my laptop and my laptop is a piece of shit. While I was in the match my laptop went on battery life (which is like 5 min) because I didn’t know my AC Adapter just shorted out on me and while in the match my laptop shut off and I got disconnected from Live. Ill admit although it did look like the match we were in looked like I did it on purpose, I put it on my life that it was an accident. So I connected everything upstairs to my brothers laptop and I sent you a message and hopefully you get it.
And to everyone on here this is the only time it has happened. Please don’t think of me as a ragequitter because I am totally against that and if I had resources and a gang of money I would get myself a new laptop or a long ass ethernet cord so I don’t have to risk anything anymore. So to everyone here at Shoryuken and especially to Raindance45cp, I am really really sorry.

i just had a guy dc on me in a G2 match. i had only ~2300 GP and he had over 7000 GP. the guy was using boxer and i beat his ass like nothing in the first round (i still have about 90% of my health). so he instantly dropped out… i bet he’s accumulated those 7000+ points with 10+ hours of play 7 days a week…
I played a guy named Sonic K9 who ragequit on me. First round perfect second round he quit.

The first match, he beat my Ken fairly soundly - he was countering my offense pretty easily, so I decided to switch to Vega for the second match and see how he handled a more hit-and-run approach.
Apparently, not very well.

Ken mirror. He tries some sloppy jump ins, a couple crouch jabs into l.RH…we all know the scenario. Instead of SRK’ing it I just set up the throw. He keeps doing similar offensives. I keep setting up the throw. Sometimes I whiff and eat shit, sometimes he counter throws(!!) but 90% of my damage is coming from tossing. I know…kind of obnoxious of me (to both do it and then come here and talk about it), but I can’t help it when the person won’t change their game up.
End of final round tossed him around a bit, need one more throw to finish it. He is just standing there. “Is he baiting me in? Is he waiting to react from neutral state. Is he…oh fuck!”, so I dash in and get my throw…fuck!
I typically don’t give a shit…but this one kind of irked me…
My first thought is…if he’s tired, then he just had to wait out that last throw animation and we were done…
We run into each other again Fei vs. Blanka. I pull out the win and I’m like, “Cool. All good. It irked me, but I won’t post about the last one. He said GG in his reply and it isn’t like online is SRS BIDNESS!” but in the middle of spamming my buttons to go on to the next match I notice an extra selection flew by that looked like the disconnect window…WTF??? Did I see things? It wasn’t finals, so it wasn’t the “upload replay” window. People can disconnect after the match? That’s gonna be

WYYYz MAYHEM. Quit during a ranked match. My Gouken was walking over his Sagat. Messages him why he would play if he’s just going to rage quit, but he never messaged back.
This same guy tried to get me to call him after he labeled me as a spammer, It was the dumbest convo I’ve ever had on PSN
Yea, sorry about that, i think i used it first…i was the first to come out of the closet to say that i quit on boring players… (my DC% is still 0 btw)
I must admit, ragequtting has gone down since the free DLC, at least for me it has…and I still have a 0% DC rate…

Some gief called me a cheap ass prick after I wheel kicked his lariat over and over. He never responded to my message to “cry more.”
Did you do the wheel kick late…or does it actually stuff the almighty lariat?
i dunno if anyone put me on here, but my connection just spontaneously craps out every hour or so, sometimes when i’m losing and sometimes when i’m winning.
last time it happened it was with RELL MANE. he threatened to write me up on here, and then i reminded him that no one on SRK likes him, and that seemed to get him to shut up.
RELL MANE, if you’re out there, i’m still waiting on that money match @ evo.
Stuffs it, but you have to make sure to use the proper strength or it’ll get you too close to him resulting in heavy punishment. If I’m too close, I can just sweep the lariat.
I was actually impressed the first round since he didn’t even do it once. But the second round he spammed it endlessly, so wheel kick was my answer.
That is awesome to know.
As an addendum, far MP also beats it clean.
