i found with charge characters let them mash there shit and then punish when there is lag.

no, seriously, if you say that Ryu and Ken benefit from lag, well that pretty much applies for almost all the characters in the game, it’s so damn hard to block Cammy’s cannon drill on reaction, to react correctly to rekkas, to escape from Zangief throws, Sagat’s tiger shots, Balrog’s punches and any fast or charge character…
Yeah. I was really dead when I played that game… It often took me two or three tries to connect with any move to counter his shenannigans. All I could do was poke him repetedely and hope he’d continue mashing reversal DP’s trying to break through any combo I would throw.
The real kicker was when he tried that random super from half-screen away! I was like “Holy cow dude! Is that how much respect you’re giving me?” and that’s when I decided I was going to spend the rest of the game taunting him and running away! 
Really ugly match, but funny.
actually the other day i played i caught this ken in a corner and started laying into him all he got in was a jab the next match magically was lagging to the point where i couldent move for a second and he was mashing that DP all day. i still won in the end tho.
A lot of characters have benefits, but the lag benefits some more than others. Blanka being a prime example. I don’t usually have a problem with SRK spam because even online you can still punish it. If they mash to try to interrupt my links then I will intentionally stop a combo and let their SRK whiff for more free damage.
The Blanka ball on the other hand is a move that you have to punish in progress since it is hard for most characters to punish after blocking. Trying to react with lag is a pain to say the least. Offline I will SRK or standing HP that spam every time for some decent damage, but online I end up blocking a lot more because it is harder to SRK on reaction especially if the Blanka player is using the half screen version instead of the full screen.

I’d have to slightly disagree, i rarely encounter lag so when i do it completely throws me off. im not talking apparent lag. im talking “hmm somethings off. Oh wait when i hit a button there’s a 1 sec delay before he does it” lag. which in itself is still not bad when im playing as my two mains , gief or sagat . but when i play bison or rog it sux balz
lags used to throw me off too then i learned how to adapt to it. now i just go “this poor bastard had to lag to have a chance”.
Just had a Dhalsim player ragequit on me, he was like all of the other Sim players, where all they fucking do is heavy punch all match, well I fucking beat him and he ragequit. I gurantee he has a small penis. Not only because he ragequit, but because anyone who plays the game by pushing only one button, most likely is a bitch. I am staring at you 85% of Sim players and 50% of Seth players on XBL.
yeah totally true, today I had this match online against a dude who usually plays Sagat so I beat him in the first match on CM on a 1 bar connection match then we fought again in semi-finals and I was like “oh ok a laggy Sagat again” but what was my surprise! he choose Blanka!! I swear he f*ckin’ did it on purpose knowing the match is gonna be laggy! :arazz: but in the end he didn’t know how to play Blanka and he lost hehe
You need to read the post before mine to understand that. We were talking about people pulling the plug and how it’s usually the people who think they’re friggin awesome (even if they most likely aren’t) who do it.

A honda player in SG named Makavelo ragequit earlier today. I have no screenshot. Just take my word for it. I was kicking his ass and he disconnected right before i was gonna win the game.
