Two reasons:
One, I would go for the resets since they wouldn’t expect that. And two, easier stun damage.
Keeps the momentum going

What I didn’t clarify was that you get the same left/right mixup plus 150 damage and 250 stun if you replace the jab with f.hp, c.mp. You had a few matches where you would hit 2 resets and miss the 3rd where instead if you did 2 with higher damage you would have netted the stun.
a couple of my matches back to back from saturday’s local (start at 1:47:xx with an ugly match against a cammy). i ended up going 3-2 and lost to the same necalli twice (first match was off screen but equally as ugly). i simply don’t know the matchup at all. also i haven’t been playing that often and am still rocking, like, day 1 combos and mixups.
help me
You definitely need to expand on some of the opportunities.
c.lk can combo to s.lp xx l peach or s.lp xx ex peach.
Throw has a 5 frame startup and minimal damage. Never punish a wiff cannon strike with it From the block you can fully charge s.hk into a full crush counter combo.
did any of those situations even occur? i basically never use cr. lk (my bad yo)
you can seriously punish cannon strike with ch hk on reaction?
Yes. You can also punish Shoryuken, EX Resenha and a lot more. Just do chrged s.hk for a Crush Counter and them follow up with pretty much anything you want.
For SRK it depends on the type… If it’s Ken’s EX you have enough time from blocking the second uppercut to fully charge s.hk, the rest of the srk I would just do f.hp cc combo.
ALL of Cammy Cannon Strike give you enough time for a full charged s.hk though, it is one of the most dangerous moves for Cammy to do against R.Mika as it can lead to a very damaging combo.
For the charged hk crush counter you would want to dash forward and either s.mp s.hp super, s.mp s.hp ex.peach, or do a s.mp xx passion press and whatever follow up is appropriate.
As for the lk, I may have seen it wrong. You may have done s.lk, not c.lk. I would recommend doing the c.lk though, as the range is good, the startup is the same, but a c.lk can combo to s.lp and either light or ex peach. A s.lk can only combo through the target combo. s.lk does give you 1 frame advantage, but it is 4 frame startup so a 3 frame move will beat the second s.lk clean.
I have recently found I get some good mixup by doing the c.lk s.lp as it adds some low hit mixup, which is very rare for mika, and can be hit confirm to either peach, or if it’s blocked you could go from the s.lp to throw with it’s frame advantage. It’s a good mixup.
File this under entertainment. Although, I was playing instinctively, I’m gonna see if dash st.HP works as counter for quick rise 4 frame+ attacks.

Quick compilation of my ranked matches with a little twist.

This happened. And everyone lose their mind.
I beat a super plat Gief player in a 2/3 set on ranked, was buzzing after…
Had a set against a Guile, he’s pretty annoying. It was supposed to be first to five but he dropped it after I got it 4-4. Still advice on him is greatly appreciated. I’m uhh…just gonna post the losses.

Honestly both you doods are kind of bad.
One: stop jumping in mindlessly.
Two: use footsies. Like t.MK.
Three: you can use the slide to counter General Uile’s V-Skill.
There’s not too much to the match. You walk in and block, dash in, rarely jump in, get the knockdown and mindfook him and bait out a Flash Kick. It’s a gay matchup. General Uile doesn’t need to do anything, he can just runaway, throw Booms, say “Come at me breh!” and gets to dictate the match.
Also, corner Nadeshiko resets won’t work too well because EX Flashkick auto-corrects.
noted Thanks
Correction: if you’re right next to General Uile once you knock him down, you can cross him up and his EX Flash will whiff. So, if you get him in the corner and go for a Nadeshiko reset, you have to either jump over him or neutral jump to mindfook him.
It’s been about a month or so since I posted anything up but things are going great! Instead of wallowing down in Bronze, I finally clawed my way up into Silver and firmly planted myself there. I’m not doing nearly as bad against Guile players as I thought I would be. Guile’s always been a bane of mine in previous games but, so far so good. I still have some trouble with characters like Karin and Laura but, I think I’m getting a little better about it. Either way, here’s my most recent replay upload. Finally unlocked Pink-haired Mika!

And here’s something really dumb. Enjoy!

Pray for Mojo
I saw myself get matched up against a Platinum ranked Guile with a 46 win streak and immediately thought to myself “Fuuuuuuuuck… I’m gonna get wrecked…” Guile has been the bane of my existence since SFIV. But… fuck! I won! Ended this poor guy’s 46 win streak. He crushed me in the runback but then I actually won the third set!
