I beat some platinums recently too. I believe it’s because they tend to understimate anyone who isn’t gold or above. Since I’m a damn scrub, I was quite happy with myself. Anyway, here are the vids:
Man the vega in the first vid really didn’t want to block. Unsafe slides got him killed too. You were landing fwrd+mp so consistently too haha. Good stuff man.
After Irish Whip into cr.hp reset, is the Rainbow Typhoon meaty? I always hesitate after that reset because it doesn’t feel like I’m at frame advantage but maybe I just need to commit to something.
Not meaty, but they usually don’t know about that. I never get jabbed after the c.HP, only characters with a DP are a real threat. When they don’t have any kind of invincible reversal like Claw, they will either jump or block. If they start neutral jumping on me, I do Wingless Airplane instead of Raibow Typhoon and they are forced to keep guessing.
So, RL hit me like a ton of bricks for the last month and a half or so and I didn’t touch Street Fighter V in all that time. I finally started jumping back in and while all the progress I’d made with Juri was back at zero… thankfully my Mika game was still largely intact. Just gotta get my timing and spatial awareness back to par. Until then though… bodied by Super Bronze Kens. https://youtu.be/2ogLrWDOBd4
No, I’ve literally been playing mika as if she’s been nerfed since PSX. I’ve been ready for this patch. The one thing that gets me is the actually CORNER and how short you actually have to wall bounce in the corner
I’d been wanting to do an updated “And her name is R MIKA!!” video for a while now and figured the start of a new season was the perfect time. This one’s got some nWo flair to it, fit for a season 2 heel turn. 'Cause when you’re an R Mika main… you’re an R Mika main 4 life. https://youtu.be/11oEB25J8Ok
