Here is another video from BGS where Mr.Combofiend was using our lovely Lady Mika. Now something very interesting happens here. At 0:42 Mika scores a knockdown and Combofiend activates her V-skill. The Ryu players wakes up with a HP SRK, Mika absorbs the hit. The mic throw at the end was a counter hit and Combofiend was able to followup with a HP into flying peach. I have never really considered using the V-skill as a bait for wakeups but this seems very interesting. I also really love the hype in this video.
canāt believe it took me until now to notice that the combo counter is āliveā now and updates per hit. interesting, I guess.
Very nice catch. Itāll only work for single hitting reversals I guess but still useful to get that specific punish which will also grant you a free throw buff.
played a bit of Mika at NYCC. i usually donāt play grapplers, but I had a bunch of fun w/ her. Looking forward to the beta to learn her for real.

How well does her c.lk low profile other attacks? Does her s.mk beat all lows and do well against other standing pokes?

God I missed it by maybe a couple minutes. Only Mika and Vega were playable too. Everything is terrible.
c.LK seemed like a really good poke. I donāt know to the extent of which it would low profile (such as going under mids), but she gets low enough to avoid stand jabs and similar. I actually didnāt get much time in Training though, ran into 2 Vega players almost instantly. I was just using c.LK and s.MK/f+MK as neutral buttons and was doing OK. s.MK/f+MK is basically like Nashās f+MK, I stuffed a low short from Vega but when he had the Claw and was doing low jabs it was a different story, seems like he will have a lot of tools to both keep Mika out and play runaway. This is from super early impressions though.
Her c.MP AA actually wasnāt that good, at least vs Vega, I got a trade vs both his j.HP and j.HK every single time, maybe itās just that his normals are godlike. Her AA grab is good vs telegraphed jumps though, it didnāt lose out once. And c.MK as a shallow jump AA also seemed really consistent.
Didnāt get to mess with her V-Trigger at all =(
I wasnāt sure how sheād play, but from the 2 matches Mika feels waaaaay more āgrappler-ishā than Abel for example. Itās only the 360 grabs sheās lacking, but half circles are fine with me.

I was freakin online on PS4 on USF4 and i didnāt check the Beta. Damn! I feel like i have been punted in the nuts. I could have easily gotten in if i had checked. This feels worse than losing to a laggy Blanka.
