Wait, I think I misunderstood how her V-trigger works. I thought it was a mode, and then you press it again to choose where Nade comes in like a Marvel assist. Is that not how it works?
My post kinda actually did two things at once haha.
So the way it works is you can go back, neutral or forward and Nade will come in either immediately (quick press) or delayed (holding it so she does the double point up motion)
Back to on topic, I think it’s worth investigating the ‘levels of hype’ R Mika builds and how they transfer through the rounds, how long they stay, and if you can stock pile them. I don’t think there’s been a definitive statement on that.
yea if you can stock pile it…like do a little at a time to reach different levels…then i can see it working and being good, but if you have to do the promo till she gets to level 1 i have a feeling it might not be that good.
Oh RIP, is doing commentary, too! I saw him playing SFV for some time on his stream, though he normally plays Tekken as his main game.
The matches for R. Mika… start at: 10:20 (R Mika vs Ryu), 22:28 (R. Mika vs Necalli), 31:00 (R. Mika vs Ryu)
25:58: I knew the R. Mika player was going try something like this at one point. Use a normal the cancels into special moves… in this case, R. Mika whiffed Wingless Airplane to quickly get on the other side of the player.
I want to play her so bad right now. With every video of her my hype gets more intense. I hope she will be in the second or third beta phase.
I barely played grapplers before but that’s because most of them are slow male grapplers. She reminds me of She Hulk which is my favorite Marvel character. Female grapplers are much cooler than male grapplers imo. =)
I would like to see her throws animate differently at higher levels of heat. Seeing a throw that hits for 10-15% suddenly hit for 80% is really tough to look at.
I was expecting something like this for her max heat giant swing.
