I hope they do something more than just manual point punishes. The server should be able to detect who disconnected. They should be able to automatically credit a loss to the dc and a win to the other player.
Since quiting is about win streaks, this would be the proper solution.
Even if someone argues they can dc randomly, i think the rules should be a dc = loss.
I mean more immediate. If the system immediately assesses the dc and issues a loss then there will only be legit rage quitting, not pulling the plug just to save a win streak or lp.
I know what Capcom is doing is supposed to help, but you have to tie the punishment to the offense. If someone loses a bunch of lp and then can rage quit and keep winning again⦠even if they receive a 2nd punishment they may still feel like they can get away with it.
Any suggestions on how you effectively get in on Chun li? Her normal have very long range, it feels hard to penetrate her defenses without taking big risks.
Yeah its super difficult. I would like to know as well. Many chuns like to do low attacks then you can f.mk over them to inch abit closer⦠but thats all I know.
I have no idea how to deal with Bison. Heās plus or safe on everything and can just keep pressuring safely. If I flinch I eat a counterhit combo, so I just block until he gets pushed out, but his df.HP attack moves him forward, and I canāt just keep eating white life damage and giving him meter.
Also I have no idea what is/isnāt punishable or what to use to punish. I know his inferno special is unsafe but sometimes I get pushed back too far to hit anything substantial.
When I get him knocked down, it should be a huge advantage for me in theory but I keep getting hit by wakeup buttons, wakeup grab, or wakeup neutral jump. I know this is purely my fault because Iām mistiming meaties. I need to hit training room, but Iād love to get any videos or advice you guys have for this matchup, or even any meaty timing setups you have. Really need to incorporate her f.HP into my game properly.
Yeah he is safe on alot of stuff so we have to block or try to counter hit. Check out one of the frame data apps. Iām using Vframes.
What gets me the most is dash up throw. I need to get better at punishing Bison when he dashes forward.
That is the only solution I came up with as well. But it doesnāt feel very effective since f.mk canāt convert to anything. The only other risky solution I came up with is to throw out unexpected shooting peach. But its very risky. Approaching Chun just feels very difficult.
I feel heās one of the better characters in the game. All Scissors is punishable on block with a LP, safer to go in to EX Ass dive as LP Ass might whiff & you can punish the ones that like to fuck about full screen with random dives with a HK Wingless fairly easily.
I struggle when he V-Triggers, everything he does seems safer than the already very safe safety stuff he has.
I tend to throw out random LKās And MKās at dashing distance.
How are you people dealing with shotos? Mika is my first grappler ever since⦠well, ever and Iām having a tough time getting in.
I know about the sweep that goes under fireballs and the invencibility of her charged s.HK but that doesnāt seem to cut it for me, especially if the zoning player is of the āgoodā variety.
I got 3rd at our local here (68 players) using Mika exclusively, unfortunately i played rather poorly in the finals lmao I guess I donāt care as much as I used to
also most ppl who play online are straight up garbage, even in gold. still learning myself but i can tell when people are straight up garbage.
Well thats true with anything in life. Few are good at something. Most are garbage at it.
This is a forum for people who share the same hobby. It doesnāt matter that weāre all at different skill levels.
And just to add to that, on PS4 right now only 3% of players have even made it to Silver league. 0.3% of players have reached Gold League. Iām sure that there are less than 500 people in the whole world that you would consider to be good. And thats fine but why make everybody else feel bad about not being as good as a handful of players?
So is anyone else depressed that the amount of Mikas(or at least the people who use Mika avatars in top 100) in top 100 since the ragequitting purge has gone down significantly? I only count two from yesterday.
Why so sensitive? Maybe Iām just too old and salty, but I didnāt take offense to that analysis of online play - certainly, there are plenty of players who would consider my Mika (at the moment ) to be garbage, that doesnāt mean the statement has to hurt. Itās an opinion on the internet, so yeah, not something you need to take to heart.
