I would like to offer my condolences to you aswell.
I did not know Dasrik, only heard of him as a name. I’d like to honor his stubborness and fighting power by dedicating my road to a competetive player to him.
There’s not much to say when someone has taken a severe loss, but his life story and your feelings for him echoed over to me in Sweden.
Rest In Peace Dasrik, lend me some of your fighting power.

Man, I didn’t know your brother. Never really heard of him but I have been a member of this forum on and off for two years and hearing of any death within the community, especially as spoken by all, a genuine, good individual is depressing say the least. All I can say is life without my brother would not be the same so I can sort of relate. RIP to your bro, my condolences to you and your family and know he’s now on another journey. Hope your’re at least getting by.
RIP man, I always saw that guy on IRC whenever I went into #capcom. It’s gonna be strange not seeing him there anymore.

Never met him and I don’t think I’ve even ever had a direct conversation with him but he’s one of the few “intelligent haters” on gd and I always associated his name with the og srk crew. You know a guy is special when someone who never even met him clicks a thread just because they see his name on the last post tag.
RIP, no more pain at least. I recall him posting that he never got a driver’s license because he wasn’t capable of driving but I didn’t know his health was THAT bad.
I never discussed anything with Dasrik, nur have I ever talked to him since I only lurk around most of the time… But he was always someone I’d look forward to see more posts from. I could tell that he was very intelligent, had a lot of passion and love for the community by just reading these posts. I can safely say the community lost a big part of it.

I can’t believe this. I never had the privilege of meeting Dasrik IRL but nonetheless I thought of him as SRK family. I am truly at a loss for words. My heart goes out to his friends and family and believe us when we say we feel we lost one of our own, because we did. Rest in peace Rick you will be sorely missed and please, to those that may not have read what his brother wrote, do be sure to read it from beginning to end.
