i saw him about a year and a half ago at Atlantic City. I remember when he started walking the old people because he knew that they had no idea who he was, and just decided to go to a show they got for free. it was moments like that which showed how brilliant he was comedically.

I get what you’re saying, but there’s so much going on in the world and in our lives to harbor the same level of sentiment for everyone at all times. We have our own personal collection of people who influence us on a semi-daily basis and other groups that garner respect when we’re cognizant of their presence.
