R.I.P. Michael Ansara (Batman TAS Mr. Freeze) and Henry Polic (BTAS Scarecrow)

He also played Kang the Klingon in original Star Trek, but to most of us he will be known as Victor Fries.

Serious: That sucks. He brought an element of real tragedy to a character who had previously been completely fucking ridiculous.

Jokes: He’s not dead–just in suspended animation until they find a cure.

Uncool :frowning:

NOOOOO!! That man was gdlk in the Mr. Freeze role. That portrayal in B:TAS was genre defining.

played an excellent voice over freeze. RIP

Mr. Freeze goes to Stovokor.

RIP. BTAS had a great lineup of voice actors.

RIP. I’m seriously bummed out by this.

Time to go watch Heart of Ice and Subzero in rememberance.

He reprised the role in Batman Beyond, right?

He was the first voice of Scarecrow on Batman:The Animated series…lost to cancer.

Mr. Freeze and Clayface were my two faves from TAS. Their episodes and characters were very tragic and sad. RIP, good sir.

MY CHILDHOOD!!!

Wow…he melted my heart of ice. R.I.P

Damn. They got Scarecrow too?! Someone go tell Kevin and Mark to get full medical checkups right now. While Scarecrow wasn’t my favorite villian, his debut episode did lead to the infamous “I AM THE NIGHT” line…

Death is not playing with the B:TAS cast.

While I like Scarecrows look towards the end, the original had his moments.
IMO, the Fear of Victory was his best episode///

Not Scarecrow too…

I want a full medical staff on Two-Face’s VA ASAP!

RIP. BTAS had an amazing voice cast, so the death of any one of them is a big loss.
