R.I.P Dave Mirra

Because depression is a serious medical condition for which people don’t get treatment. So it seems that a lot of us have matured enough to understand that untreated psychological diseases are as much a reason to mourn somebody as other medical issues. When you’re brain chemistry is actively working against you, it no longer becomes a case of somebody not “manning up”.

Who remember this from Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX back in the day?

Tell that to all the depressed poor people starving every day that dont commit suicide.

Wow.

<-- Follow instructions under my avatar. We’ll thank you.

SRK never fails to disappoint when it comes to being utterly fucking retarded. God some of you are as dumb as a bag of rocks. Respect the fucking legend that is Dave Mirra.

I like how people with your kind of mentality seem to have found a way to quantify pain and suffering. We have no idea what he was going through, but since he doesn’t meet criteria A,B, or C in your book he becomes less of a human being…

Emotional pain is relative and never cut and dry…

RIP to the Tony Hawk of BMX my condolences for the family, hope the media doesn’t try to spin this story…ehh I’m jus not feeling it today.

Fuck you, you stupid motherfucker.

Rip Dave. Man some sad as shit.

R.I.P.

Dave fucking mirra. Best wishes to him and his family.

Sublime…

Aka middle aged white burnout music

I can relate to this I was into bmx in the 90’s early 00’s he was a big inspiration, rip.

Where’s the wtf button?!

Just give this guy a good helping of disagrees, to bury his post…

Real talk wtf has been going at the end of 2015 & beginning of 2016??? People are dropping like flies. If ain’t well known people dying of cancer and such, its people I knew back in high school offing themselves…where’s the mental health thread when you need it

R.I.P Dave, you made X Games what it is today.

The hell does Sublime music have to do with anything?

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX is a video game for the Playstation 1 and Playstation 2. Sublime - What I got was apart of the video game’s soundtrack.

Everyone who used to ride, post a picture of your bike/doing a move/picking up hoes on the back pegs, I’ll go first:

damn RIP!
so sad

I would but my days were when Kevin Jones came up with The Hitchhiker and I occasionally rode with John Parker in Paso Robles before he turned pro. We only had film back then, it was pretty rough.

Fuck off

when even jion wansu thinks you’re an idiot, you really fucked up. but yeah hard to believe anyone is actually that dumb. not worthy of spiderman in a fireman helmet.

rip dave. where i lived, bmx became big when i was in seventh grade. every boy had to have a bmx bike at that time even if he knew nothing about bicycles or extreme sports, largely because of mirra’s influence. i think most people would be mindfucked if anything happened to tony hawk too, as he bridged the gap between video game players and extreme sports.
