dude…he was one of the top 3 people who made me wanna learn bmx tricks. i was always too scared for jumps, so i learned flat stuff. Local kids made a bmx park in the back of an apartment complex when x games was at its height in the early 2000s. One of the safest spots in my neighborhood. Dude had such a big influence on my childhood.

I can relate to this I was into bmx in the 90’s early 00’s he was a big inspiration, rip.

I would but my days were when Kevin Jones came up with The Hitchhiker and I occasionally rode with John Parker in Paso Robles before he turned pro. We only had film back then, it was pretty rough.

rip dave. where i lived, bmx became big when i was in seventh grade. every boy had to have a bmx bike at that time even if he knew nothing about bicycles or extreme sports, largely because of mirra’s influence. i think most people would be mindfucked if anything happened to tony hawk too, as he bridged the gap between video game players and extreme sports.
