does cammy’s c.mk make her hitbox smaller?
yes. but its not that fast. and its not as good as shotos/rose/twins cr.lk.

If you’re talking about vertical hittable box, it makes her slightly bigger (taller) at first during the startup frames, then her head portion of the hitbox disappears during active frames. But since it takes so long for the small hitbox to kick in, and the fact that there’s only a small gap between the hitbox shrink and the rest of the active frames of the move, it means you won’t be able to use this to do something like crouch under air attacks and hit them with the normal. You also can’t whiff the normal and punish, because of heavy recovery on cr.mk.
Cr.lk however actually shrinks a little bit during startup and remains shrunk through some of recovery, making it a little useful to go under stuff on reaction like Viper burn kicks, and letting you punish as you recover before her.

^ Those hitboxes don’t show half of the story, because they only show what the hittable area is when the move goes active. Judging from the pic above, cr.mk would be a great move to use to duck under moves, but the fact is that it isn’t because it only gets that low once the move goes active. As opposed to cr.lk which gets low on frame 1.
Cr.mk also has much worse priority than is shown above, because the hittable box before it goes active is rather large. On the other hand, cr.lk hitbox is amazingly good, just as shown above. The point is that you can’t judge from still pictures though. Those interested can go here for videos of all of Cammy’s hitboxes.
The point is that you are the expert xD Based on the pics alone cr.HK would be a great move to use to duck under moves like Chun’s cr.mp ;p
Why don’t they just put an option so you can see the hitboxes in training mode?
