I got .250 QDs, and I need .110s… But I can’t find them. Where could I find them in person? As opposed to shipping them :\
Your Quick Disconnect should be .110" (2.79mm) or .187" (4.75mm) size, not .250" (6.35mm) size.
.110" are for Buttons, but .187" goes on too.
You can take a pair of pliers and ever, ever, EVER so gently press down on them and they should fit. Do it too much though and they’ll never even go on.
The width might be correct (2.79mm) but the thickness might not: 0.5mm is what you need for Japanese button tabs. 0.8mm+ will cause the QD to fall off. Yes, it can be tightened with pliers but it would be better to buy the correct size. You can bet most people are totally oblivious to the different thicknesses available.

It makes sense to think that it falls off due to being thick, but I don’t know. :sad:
With a wide Quick Disconnect like 6.35mm, a thinness of 0.51mm may keep it on, I don’t know.
Yeah found out they’re .250s and I looked in a couple places for .110s with no luck… Is there anywhere you can buy them in person? I don’t wanna wait for them to ship online… I could have this done by today if I just had the disconnects.
I checked my local Radioshack and fail-train occurred when I couldn’t find any.
They had lots of sizes, but no .110
And when I asked the oh so helpful Radioshack guy, he had no idea what a terminal was, or anything about electronics _.

Or order from Lizard Lick, I did to save myself the hassle.
Without knowing where you are from, it’s hard to say exactly. edit: that’s pretty fail. Rat shack definitely has (or had) them. How someone could work there and not know what they are is beyond me.
Radio Shack has sets, but their often mixed sizes or mixed male/female. You can find them in some automotive supply shops too.

There are a ton of Radio Shacks in NY. Start calling around.
.110 is not easy to find locally. Rat Shack carries .187 at an absurd price. My local auto shops didn’t have .110 either. Do yourself a favor and buy them online. I got 200 on eBay for $10.
Your gonna be hard pressed to find them locally going the radioshack route, being that your in NY I would check the specialty computer parts shops.
-You could just keep it hood and solder the wire directly to the buttons, makes for a clean look 
Yes, you won’t find .110" at RadioShack.
