It´s harder than SF4 imo. Close fierce attacks have very small windows to cancel, it does not help that most super motions are SNKish hard. Links require very good timing, even stuff like close LK to close LP, etc.
There aren’t alot of links in KOF and they aren’t important. Most of your hit confirms are off a close stand C or a crouch C, some characters are able to chain cr.B into cr.A into stuff.
Just practice, get used to the timings and input commands. It’s way easier than doing stuff in Street Fighter 4 really.

It’s not that hard at all, 98 has a lot of hitstop to give you tons of time to cancel the move. The hardest part is the inputs but with practice they’re fine.
