Question: first time to EVO from Asia

Hello everyone
We will go to EVO from Asia,it’s our first time there.
I got some question:

  1. where can we live cheaper?
  2. any MM there? My friend is one of the best KOF13 players in my country, he want to play MM and know more friends.
  3. any event on July 5 ? the day before EVO?

Hey welcome to Evo community:

  1. I think Imperial is pretty cheap (but I am not sure about this year, since Evo is around Independence day holiday, so a lot of places might be packed. You can check out websites like Priceline.com or other travel website for details.

  2. There will DEFINITELY be MM, you just have to either show up during the free to play section of EVO (side tourny, etc.) and mention to ppl that you want some MM, or you can just post on the forum to arrange it ahead of times.

  3. So far we have no idea regarding any events the day before EVO, but I am sure MrWizard or Inkbot will announce it beforehand if they do have something planned.

Also, just curious, what country are u guys coming from? Maybe if there are other players from your country going to EVO, you can join with them in booking hotel room or setting up travel arrangement to make it cheaper/easier for you guys.
