Are the restrictor gates on candy cabs usually octagonal or square? I recently received my first Sanwa stick and it came with a square gate. I’d like to know what’s more popular because I don’t want to get used to this joystick and have a tough time adjusting to what’s widely used. Thanks in advance.
On actual cabinets in Japan? Square, every one of 'em. I never ran across a single octagonal gate installed.
