So I looked up some combos for a character, and I noticed button combinations like qcf + and > hcb + , but I’m not sure what the weird buttons are. Can someone help me figure out what they are?
QCF is short for quarter-circle forward. That’s a down, down-forward, forward (6 o’clock to 3 o’clock) motion on your stick or D-pad.
HCB means half-circle back. That’s forward, down-forward, down, down-back, forward motion. You may see it noted sometimes as 63214 in some places. This is numpad notation that you’ll find on a keyboard.
Edit: mixed up my HCF and HCB, corrected it
Ah. Thank you for the explanation.
You’re describing a hcf not hcb.
Whoops. Not sure how I got that mixed up. Corrected it.
