I actually heard about him because he was a guest on a podcast I listen to, he broke his back 15 years ago. He met some people at a gig, one of which drove them all home, she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed. Everyone but him walked away from the crash. :sad: They never kept in touch either.

Games used to include button mapping all the time, what the hell happened? At least back in the PS1 and maybe early Ps2 days, you could do whatever the hell you wanted. I remember switching the action/shoot and punch on MGS1 just to get it the way I wanted.
