Q's identity to be unveiled by October? (Official)

He’s Santa Claus.

I did some testing on him one night in training mode a looong time ago.

Anyway, this is what I did:

Used Urien vs the cast, checked out what their skellies look like when you hit them with a fireball.

Result: Q has no skelly, but has the same “insides” as Gill iirc.

Conclusion: Q is Seth

So has anyone read the Udon back story comic things? What was revealed?

They’ve been out for about half a month or so now, unless they were delayed.

I mean dayum where is the spoilers

I would like Q’s identity to be officially revealed at SOME point. Hopefully before I die.

Are there any other secrets that capcom never tells?

I think someone may have been referring to this image, its a rare piece from one of the AllAbout type books…Arcadia Mook, perhaps? I’m sure it may have been done in hest of some sort, but it was in the book about SF3:3S.

Heres an image with a drawing of all of the characters wearing alternate clothes, and Q is at the end, near Akuma. Im sure the image was done in jest, but it shows Q unmasked. He’s caucasian, and sporting a mustache.

To me, I’d make a guess that he is British. Capcom tends to give British guys mustaches. Alone that reason would be fairly dumb, (Haggar disproves it) but to support it, I remember reading a thread on here that in the arcade version of the game, when you’d play on Q’s stage, it would default to Dudley’s stage with Q’s theme…since Q has no specific stage.

Maybe there is a correlation? Who knows, but to be honest, I kinda prefer the lack of information on the character. Its intriguing.

^ Whoa… He looks a lot like Eagle. Which is british and sports a mustache. The height is still a problem, though. Maybe it’s Eagle wearing some seriously huge elevator shoes lol

Haha!

I do think its cool about the rumored concept for Q. In SF2’ there was a guy on the boat in the background, and they used the concept for Q, supposedly…so the idea of the mysterious possible agent kinda thing in 3S is a way to explain the globetrotting, lol.

The only thing that keeps me curious is the “Danger” warning when you use the kick input after Total Destruction. And his win quotes leave little to help as well… “I am…abomination…” or something like that…not too clear as to what hes referring to. Either way, I still like the obscurity.

Capcom will probably work him into the hackneyed S.I.N. story arch at some point.

For me, he is by far one of the most intriguing and original characters in fighting games to date. I hope he gets a fittingly well thought out story, if anything is ever revealed.

They should just keep the dudes identity a secret. It’d ruin the mystique just like they did for Gouken.

But I do hope that they put him in atleast one or two backgrounds in SSF4. Like just have the dude peek from around the corner in the background.

Lol.

 Offered Makoto some candy in 3S and she kicked his ass.
