QANBA Q4 error: Not registering on Xbox; PC coming up as Joystick instead of Gamepad

Hey guys,

My QANBA Q4 was going swimmingly, when me and friend started playing SF4. Get to character Select, and it doesn’t let me select a character. Stuck on Juri/Hakan. However it gets to the Super Select, and it starts working again. Happens on and offline. So I restart my machine, unplug my stick and the Wired 360 controller. Plug the stick back in, restart, now no numbers light up on the player number interface on the stick (Normally comes up with “2”; 1 I guess is taken by the 360 Controller)

I uninstalled and the drivers and re-installed, same issue. But then I modified the settings in SF4, and instead of coming under controller, it comes under QANBA Joystick Plus. So I’m ble to modify it, but it seems to only register Up, down, left and right. No Diagonals. Even though in the settings where it shows you all of the buttons come up fine.

So now I can’t seem to get it back to being a Gamepad (Which was working perfectly). Does anyone have any ideas?

Which game mode your Q4 is set to? Do you have the multi console version or the PS3/PC version?

Sorry for not responding earlier, Aussie here, so I only just got up.

The multi-version. So its got that switch, left for Xbox, right for PS3/PC. I tried toggling that multiple times, same issue.

Did you try to reinstall drivers?

Yes I did. I uninstalled it, then plugged the stick back in and it auto-installed the drivers again. Are there other drivers I should be installing for it? Maybe I have the wrong one.

Well I have no idea, but it is now working again. Thanks anyway Dark for all your help.
