So, I’ve been using arcade sticks for a few years now. I’ve had multiple. I recently pre-ordered the Obsidian because I wanted to treat myself to a truly nice stick. I’ve had it for a month or so now and I’ve got one gripe with it. I have the worst trouble in the world doing qtr circles. I can do them standing still. I can do them perfectly 50 times no issues, but when I do them in a combo (I mainly play Guilty Gear) I end up dropping them 20% of the time. It’s as if I don’t go far enough to the right/left when doing them. I’m thinking (pretty certain) this spring is stronger than I’m used to. Do you guys recommend I just keep practicing and get it down? Or do you think I should replace the spring? Any insight would be great. Thanks guys.
Keep practicing until you get it down
The obsidian uses standard sanwa parts, any difference in spring tension would be within normal lot to lot variance.
