Q&A

Question and Answer.

1: Is there a cheaper and simple mic instead of a blue tooth for the PS3?
2: Is it possible to change user online name?
3: Is there a PS3 controller that resembles the 360 controller with higher up analog and further apart for practical use?
4: When is PSN store coming anyone know?

1: Yes, check the Walmart department and get a USB Headset or buy one online.
2: No. However, you can re-create a new account for free. However, if you’re into trophies and offline games a lot. You’ll have to transfer a saved data to your new account. That way, you have everything back. Don’t know if it’s possible.
3: Perhaps. But, you’ll be getting a 3rd party controller vs Sony’s product.
4: There is no release date on when we’re getting the service back.

  1. Won’t work. You can transfer saves, but not trophies. A new name can be created if you create a new user on the PS3 but keep the same log in info on the main account. That only changes the display name in game, if you check players met, you’ll see the main account the new name is tied to. This way you don’t need to go through a brand new registration process and all that. Still won’t get your trophies though.

  2. Yeah, Power-A Wireless or Wired ones are pretty much just like the 360. Most users complain about poor dead zone, so I’d steer clear. I never had a problem with the analog stick placement, more so the L2/R2 triggers on the back, which PDP sells Real Triggers for, and they’re awesome.
