not to be a pain, but playing on japanese parts at home and then trying to use the american sticks would be really hard/weird for that game.

you might want to look into creating a Poll thread for the “few other fighters” you are looking at to gauge interest and linking to it in your first post. Of course, this is the internet so who knows if the data you’d get would actually mean anything. I will totally play CT on an HD cab. To me, this is HUGE news cause that means PWA will have a cab capable of playing games requiring a taito-x2 board. Really wish SNK-Playmore would put out more King of Fighters 13 kits cause that game doesn’t even have a console release date and I think there are only like 3 in the US.

I’m definitely interested in checking out this arcade. Especially after hearing that it’s legit, and has all four of the first MK games!
I will say that if you’re interested in getting the competitive scene going over there, having the latest versions of the next gen fighters is essential. For BlazBlue, that would be BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, and for Street Fighter, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. I think people from would be willing to travel (even from out of state) to play at PWA if you had those games, just so long as the displays don’t lag and they have Sanwa parts with standard (Vewlix or Astro/Blast City style) layouts.
I’m sorry if that seems like a lot of requirements, but those are the standards of the community, and I’m just trying to give some suggestions! If you can meet those standards, I think you could get a lot of regulars, and if you were to hold tournaments, there’s a good chance that a lot of people would show up.
Also, Super Street Fighter II Turbo would be a great addition (if you don’t already have it). Classic game, and people still play it competitively.

Midways The Grid should make an appearance. 3 cabs would be insane and I know I would be down to go up there often for that.
So here is what was done tonight.
1.) SFA3 (all switches for player 1 and player 2 were replaced)
2.) Mortal Kombat’s power supply was replaced
3.) Donkey Kong Jr control stick was adjusted and now will not stick
3.) Guns setup on the new Carnevil game. just some minor adjustments and is should be out on the floor in a couple of days

Ya During the weekdays I am there in the evening hours around 9:00 PM till way after close fixing machines.
Weekends is where you will see me most during the day.
This weekend I have to help a buddy move some hardware from Maine in the morning so I will not be over to the PWA until late afternoon until close (on Saturday).
I hope to get the BB machine up and working this weekend, the a few tests and tweaks and we can get it out on the floor.

if you work on the rail shooters, the area 51 player 2 gun doesn’t shoot where you aim. it’s almost like you have to tilt the gun to the right to make it align properly.
any eta on the bb cab as well? i’m hoping to stop by again after work tomorrow to see if it’s out, if not i’ll probably just wait.
