@jmcrofts: are there gonna be any other games goin on, like SC or T6?
Right now the plan is just SF4, but you can bring any other games you wanna play and if there’s enough time and interest we might play a few rounds. There’s only 1 xbox and screen though so it’ll just be one game at a time.
Hi all, I hope to attend tomorrow night, sounds like fun. I’m not sure if there are any rules at Hillenbrand but if it’s no problem I can bring another tv for us to play on, just a small 20inch LCD. Unfortunately my 360 is still with Microsoft so someone else would have to provide a second system.
that sounds like a good idea… I’m sure somebody that stays at Hill has a system they’ll be willing to bring down…
There’s actually another TV in the lobby that we could use, we just need a system to play on it.

Hey all, I plan to attend. I’m bringing a 360 fightpad, an extra 360 control, and an extra game disc if we need it. Should I bring that small tv as well? HDMI cables? Any misc items? Even if I’m rusty it’ll be nice to meet some other enthusiasts.
@aliceinangels, we’ve got all the video hookups and stuff we need, but the controllers and stuff might come in handy, thanks. Don’t worry about bringing a second TV, there’s already one there, we just don’t have a system to plug into it. If we’re lucky maybe a hillenbrand kid who attends will have one we can use.
Hey John, thanks for putting everything together. It was a great time. Tourou your Gen was sick. That 26ish hit double focus cancel MK-Hands masterpiece you pulled out towards the end of the night was definitely highlight reel worthy. If you had been on your own stick I’m sure it would have been something scary.
Sorry the best I could put forward was ball spam and XBL-anka technique. It’d been a while and just getting comfortable with cross-up MK and blocking jumpins took almost the entire night, no time for hop shenanigans and knockdown ambiguous ultra. “No excuse zone” though, you guys were all just really good.
Hey, thanks to everyone who came out for the Game Night, I’d say it went quite well! Sorry the controller switching situation was all screwy. Jason has a PS3 that he says he could hook up next time, then we could have 2 setups going at once. I had a great time playing with you guys, it definitely looks like I need to step up my Rufus game in certain matchups (aka blanka and gen), and hopefully we can get another one of these going soon!
I was tentatively considering the sunday after the first week back from Thanksgiving break, which would be December 6th. I know it’s hard to plan that far ahead, but does anyone have any major objections to that day or suggestions of a better date? Again, thanks a bunch to everyone that came out, hope you had a good time!
Good games last night, I was the Vega. I wish I could hookup my keyboard to a 360 and play, I wouldn’t have been as bad as I was ;[ I could do a little with the controller, but I had never touched a stick before and I like, wasn’t hitting the directions exactly right so instead of walldiving over fireballs and such I was just getting hit by them repeatedly D;
Sorry I never made it back, we went to a friend’s place, ended up drinking a little, and the next thing I knew I was walking back to the parking garage by Hillenbrand all they way from down the river at 6:30 in the morning. I’ll play more next time and hopefully practice with a controller a little more before then ^^
GGs ya’ll… I’m not all that great at this game, I play Tekken & Soul Calibur pretty hard, I’m trying to pick up Street Fighter… But yea I can make it to the Dec. 6th If you decide to do that. hey jmcrofts do u have XBL? If so wats ur GT, mine is TUKK3, send me a FR, maybe you could help me train in this game… oh, and I was the black guy playing Ryu lol…

Hey tukk1, I play Soul Cal and Tekken mainly as well and looking to get into SF4 so looks like we’re on the same boat. I have PS3 only though. Also, we gotta thread on Tekken Zaibatsu u can check out. It’s the Indiana thread.
I really want to make one of these meetings, but several things are keeping me busy. Glad to see people are meeting up and I will definitely try to make it to one of these events down the line.

I downloaded the PC version of SF4 because of I wanted to be able to play on my laptop but right now im getting a weird error when i try to install…ill let you guys know if i get it working
