Pulled Too Hard?

Hey guys. I’m working on replacing the buttons on my Mayflash F500. When pulling the quick connects off the first button, they were hard to pull off, but they eventually came off (using pliers to pull them off). But when I got to the second button, it seemed to take more force, then this happened: https://imgur.com/a/kjd1mbn

I’m replacing the buttons anyways, so that’s not a huge issue, but I suppose I’ll have to replace the wires now too? If so, does anyone know of a place I can get an 8-pin quickconnect harness? (Like this https://imgur.com/a/GoFQyGw) Or will I need to decide between replacing the individual wire or replacing the stock PCB?

You can buy a quick disconnect crimping tool and some quick disconnects to repair that wire. You’ll need .110 disconnects. It’s a pretty simple fix compared to the huge pain in the ass you’d go through having to source or build another 8 pin JST connector or do a full PCB replacement though.

Thanks for the response! Is this the kind of connector I would need? I’m pretty new to modding. https://www.amazon.com/22-18-0-110-Female-Quick-Disconnect-Terminals/dp/B00NV75VZS/ref=pd_day0_hl_60_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00NV75VZS&pd_rd_r=4e2f25b6-a768-11e8-b11d-915b29cfa4b3&pd_rd_w=f7WCP&pd_rd_wg=ADzYl&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=6a8492ae-b1a9-47e4-8244-e55b8611820c&pf_rd_r=F6YE3PYKRFM7X4RC4GE9&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=F6YE3PYKRFM7X4RC4GE9

Yeah! You’ll need a crimping tool to get the best connection, but they’re pretty cheap afaik. It’s a good thing to have if you get the stick mod bug.

Awesome, thanks for your help! Now I just need to wait for stuff to get here.
