I had a blast! I was thinking this might be my last tourney, but I think I got sucked back in lol.

Thanks to Nathan, Jesse, Zach and all the staff. Arcade Legacy is godlike, and so was the BBQ, delicious!

H2H ST was definitely the highlight of the tournament for me, great setup! We were even able to put together a 2v2 side tourney. GGs to all the ST heads playing all weekend.

Good seeing all the usual suspects, you know who you are. And great meeting some faces in person finally.

I’ll definitely be back next year, again, great job guys, learn from the mistakes, get better, and keep growing.

I had a really great time meeting a lot of faces I’ve only spoken to online. I could go on forever and give shoutouts but anyone I interacted with knows I enjoyed it and really had a fun time regardless of being cheated in Mystery Game. Or Getting 9th in SSF4 but no points lol. Also I think everyone can agree Perfect Legend was MVP of the weekend.

I know mistakes were made and I think we all have a bad habit of being too friendly with players itself but when it comes to these EVO seeding tournaments we should start taking them a little more seriously if we want to see this whole thing grow into primetime.

Nathan You did a great job overall man and you were very well organized and I picked up quite a few things that I could use for CEO so I appreciate that. I will support any future events you throw cause I know you have learned from this past weekend and know what’s needed for the next time.

Of course to Markman and Keits for being my Eating buddies throughout the weekends, Great times were had. Ghaleon, I had fun letting you own me in old school games, too bad you don’t know how to come to terms with the new games in the year 2011, but it’s ok lol.

Thanks everybody for the kind words and support. I know a few mistakes were made, but we learned from them and will now be even better for it. Overall, I feel like it was a great tournament and it seemed like the majority of the people here were having a great time.

Nathan - It was a pleasure to put this whole thing together with you. You did a great deal more of the leg work and it turned out fantastic. I look forward to more PowerUp branded events.

Staff - Great job keeping things running smoothly (for the most part) and in good time. I wouldn’t hesitate to have any of you back to help in the future.

Team Spooky - It was great meeting you guys. Thanks for doing a fantastic stream with the limited internet capabilities here. I’ll be looking into a new Internet provider for next years event. Also, thanks for buying games from me. Keep me in mind if you need more in the future. I’d be glad to ship them out to you guys.

MarkMan - Big thanks for the donations. Who doesn’t like free sticks?

Ghaleon - Thanks for your encouragement. AL tournaments will always have rad arcade tournaments so I know I’ll see you guys again soon.

Webster - Keep you spirits up. You had a thankless job all weekend and you took on a bigger load than anyone else. Next time we will have more staff so you can enjoy yourself a bit more (if you even want to come). Thanks for all your help.

CEO Jebailey - Glad I got to meet you. Glad you got your wallet. Good luck with CEO this year. I’ll be watching the stream for sure.

Mohawk Mike, Leah, Jordan, Otto and Tyler - Huge Thanks for helping me either run the counter, clean up the place or both. Sorry I had to read all those Deep Thought to stay awake at IHOP.

Mystery game was the highlight for me. I love watching people’s reaction when they have to play stuff like Kart Fighter, Slaughter Sport, D-Xhird and other bottom of the barrel fighters. Battleship and Windjammers grand finals were intense!

Sailor Moon S money matches FTW! Good to meet some of the Michigan crew. Glad you guys enjoyed mystery game so much.

Now for the anti-shoutout - Did anyone end up with an extra PS3 MvC3 disc? BOTH of the arcade copies are missing. I know it’s a long shot and they were probably jacked like Otto’s PS3, but I can dream.

. It was good meeting lots of people and see old and new faces and the hype that pursued the event! Glad everyone had a good time and hopefully my pool and bracket was speedy and fast.
