What i meant was that i dont want most of the roster to be characters from specifally 2-3 games then only a handfull of franchises getting reps. Thats why i would be an epic fail if the rest of the revealed cast was people from Megaman and Resident Evil and that’s it.
IN regards to DS, yes DS has two reps but they SUCK. Morrigan i can understand, but Felicia? Everyone knows full damn well that there were better candiadates than Felicrap for secondary darkstalker, but unforuntelty she’s in, so its time to move on becuz 2 DS characters is enough, if i wanted DS fest i would just play chaos tower. Now we need more games to be repped, like sengoku basara or the extremely popular in japan series monster hunter, which i may add has sold at least 11.47 million copies worldwide topping dmc. The Japanese need a reason to buy this game and I need some characters to blow me away, amaterasu,v.joe,dante did but TRON did not do that, so what’s up capcom?
Whats up is a Megaman Legend game is in the works(most likely) and Servbot has become the mascot for Capcom.
Tron was one of the small handful of decent, unique Capcom characters from MvC2. And given that we know approximately 1/2 of MvC3’s cast will be returning characters, I’m glad she was picked as a returning representative.
She has a very distinct and interesting character design, and they can definitely make her have a more unique and effective stand-alone playstyle if they tweak her moves.
Works for me.
Also hoping this means no Volnutt. Classic MM, Tron, and Zero(?). One rep from each series.

Well if you think about it, they dropped the Tron announcement and some stuff for MMU this week instead of at TGS. Makes you wonder if they’re dropping this now to make space for something next week.

As far as moves, I think they’ll keep it largely the same, there aren’t any recent games to base anything off of.
The could just replace her with a bunch of Servbots cheering for her.

T. Bonne’s anti air servbot move was kind of lame in MvC2. I didn’t find it to be that useful. It might’ve been more useful if the hit frames of the servbot lasted longer. It’s not dangerous when it’s floating down.
It’s dangerous on the way down if it doesn’t hit on the way up. It’s a good thing to throw out if you want to keep them from approaching in the air. A good buff however, would for it to hit on the way up as well as down, regardless of hit or miss. It would make it much better for zoning.
