A-rank soon? How many matches do you plan to play each day then? I’m at 14900 now and have been grinding for months (about 1100 ranked matches played with Rose).
Most matches only give me 1 to 5 points. And it’s hard to find connections in Western Europe that I trust. Even so, than you have to be able to connect. What a pain to reach A-class that way.
Have to admit though, I’m always around 3800PP, so I occasionally lose points too. I wonder how you can maintain 4000/5000PP like you and fillipinoman. If you ever lose a match with that amount of points, you have to like win 50 to get it back?

Acku: I’m not too sure, but I’m aiming to reach that goal in about 3 weeks. You do lose a good amount of points if you have PP around that amount, but I find myself facing mostly low 3000’s - high 3000’s PP players. I do run into 4000 PP players, but only from time to time.

A 2v2 Online team tournament last night, we won :D. Me and my friend both chose Rose. He OCV’ed the first match, and i OCV’ed the second. For someone who has 5600PP, i dont really agree on the approach he takes with Rose. But to each his own i guess.

hmm, what dont you agree with? I saw twice the same kind of Rose, heavy on defense and zoning. Offensive only with slides and dash to throw. Kind of boring, but to each his own. You did win, that makes it ok.

The funny thing about this match was that it was against a fellow country member, who previously send a message to all Belgian (of the country Belgium, the country around the city Brussels) people that he has never been beaten before by another Belgian, and was looking for people to challenge him. I gladly took it upon me.
You need to know that except for a few French speaking people in this country, there are no die-hard SF4 players. Since he speaks Dutch (like me), his claim could be valid.
