I watched the match earlier today. I personally love when people say “WHY IS HE PICKING ROSE?!”
I always like seeing people on a higher level play rose. Reason is, a lot of rose players I’ve faced and watched main rose. They also aren’t very good at SF4, myself included. I’ve never thought of FADCing a fireball after a block string. Thats well…smart. Too bad Rose’s ultra is like 12 frames start up.
Dont be afraid to throw that Soul Plasma. She builds meter FAST and her HP reflect is great to build meter also. She can throw one out and still maintain pressure. I’m curious why you chose to go HP, MP, LP reflect after your super. Why not hit that HP reflect 3 times?
I’d love to see you play rose more, real shit.
HONESTLY, Sanford doesn’t seem like he is fit to play those really slow characters and patient characters like Rose.
He seems to have fun with those fast paced characters like Viper. It just seems like his style.
I’m not taking anything away from your Rose playing, though.
Rose can be fast paced. A lot of how you play depends on the other person. Like if you’re up against a real aggro Seth, Bison, or Viper player, you can’t just stand around sparking. You gotta stay on the move or else you’re dead.
But Rose has to block a shit load more than any of the other characters.
She just doesn’t have enough tools.
It’s just your style flip. You’re the best turtle Rose out there lol. Rose has the tools to be aggro. Especially on wake up. Sanford plays a lot like me (sans uneccesary flash). Luffy plays a mix of me and you. I lack the patience to be as laid back as Luffy was in the match vs Daigo. I know for a fact I would have attempted to get in his shit and probably gotten fucked up for it lol.
