As someone who plays Rose as main and Vega as second, I really like these videos.
Videos show how it can be difficult to handle a good Vega with Rose, and Vega player is pretty good (unless he makes some huge mistakes which makes him loose the match)
Good reflex with ur ultras (far rolling chrystal EX to pass through SSpark, he didnt watch ur ultra gauge, lol).

Numb 1 style of Rose gameplay in all the vid I ve seen so far (my opinion of course); really like ur Rose: lot of FA use with diff options and little mind game, very versatile gameplay, some good reflex.

Hey guys. Long time srk lurker since 3rd strike but I never made an account till now. I play at the weekly tournaments at University Pinball in Philly and 8 on the Break in Dunellen NJ. I have some casual vids of myself playing Evildrakefang aka Philly One aka One who has a scary Cammy, the best in my opinion. And Pete’s Zangief that is pretty darn good. It was late at night and I was tired so my execution is sloppy.

i really liked the first one against Zang, you really did well!! nice ultras on reaction, you have quick reflexes!
i didnt know you can grab Zang right after his empty jump in and right before his command throw facing him!!
Evildrake has a sick Cammy, Saqs has few videos uploaded and he had a painful time also against him.
i think this is one of the worst match ups Rose has, she almost has no anwer when pressured with TK CStrikes spamming and tick throw mix ups :sad:
BTW, i saw you had problems stopping Guile jump ins. If you know its coming but have no meter to EX SThrow, just use cr HP, it stops him clean.
Perhaps it loses from the weak attack Guile used? Dont know, must have been a reason why he was not trying to counter
I doubt it. that light kick has no range, even a trade would be in Rose’s favor. Dave’s just inexperienced. I can tell not just from that, but he was doing pre-tech throws during Guile’s combos… I mean come on…
That is how my guile matches are. Great illustration to my thread I made a while ago. I cant stop this kind of rush down. I know its coming but its…like…hes already too deep to C.HP at that point after a block string.

It’s much more economical to link a special attack after the c.HP than to EX Cancel it. And if you want to get behind your opponent, use HK spiral. I imagine you’ll be at even frames by the time you recover, so there’s no hazard to it.
Also sparks are a good option after C.HP because it acts like a frame trap.

On a side note have you ever played on the XBOX? I ask because I recently picked up the PC version after my XBOX copy met an unfortunate fate. And I must say, the timing is different between the PC version and the XBOX version. Takes some getting used to.
And the competition on the PC is a far cry from what’s on the XBOX so far as I’ve seen. I tore through G3 with not even so much as a match lost, and G2 is shaping up to be no better. Seriously where do you find the competition on the PC version? I have smashed pretty much everyone I’ve faced on PC.
And finally how do you find the connection to be? I’m on a 50MB fiber optic line and still finding stable matches is a pain in the ass.

i started playing a little on the ps3 but there was a lot of 3 bar connections so i couldnt tell how the competition is, or was for me. that and i didnt start maining rose till pc release which was early july. i cant play w/anyone else… though i wanna second guile. i love fuson and gilleys guile.
as for the pc… 3 bars here, when youre looking for games, is like 4 bars in the lobby. 4 is 5 and 5 is 5. the only downside for pc is when people dont lower their graphics when they should.
