my graphics card is pretty shot on my laptop but I decided to download anyway cause i’m a PSO freak/nut.
though if it’s too much, I won’t bother or try to leech off someone else in my area when they’re not playing.
Finally everything finished downloading everything and they’re doing maintenance :bluu:
Laptop surprisingly seems ok on the lowest settings for me but haven’t gotten to try any real gameplay yet.

Having a blast with the game so far. Aside from occasional server lags, game plays pretty damn well!
eng patch can’t come soon enough. I have no idea what i’m spending skill points on!
I’ve experienced a handful of crashes already, but the game is fun. The last PSO I played was the original PSOv1 on the Dreamcast, and this feels pretty familiar, for obvious reasons. It’s funny how much the jump button changes the pace of the game.
Hopefully I can get the bugs worked out. And my Japanese is pretty rusty, so I had a hard time finding my way around- is there an SRK guild or group or something already set up?
Fucking bullshit! Me and some friends were in the heart of battle against this mothafuka brave heart, then the game kicked us offline because of maintenance. At first… we where getting our asses kick, but we fought hard and never gave up, hell…some us even died(me too lol) a few times. That damn dragon was a monsta! fucking four people whoppin his ass and he ATE THAT SHIT like it was breakfast, then run my ass over like he’s a dame runningback.:bluu: Dammit I want that dragon’s heart!! fuck you SEGA!!>:( That shit was gettin REAL!!

just been doing client orders and the main story quest (i think?) to level up

On a related note, I made this last week. It’s a video about canceling attacks into dodges and jumps. Pretty basic stuff, but it took me a while to figure out. Sorry for the low graphics settings.

Nice, just going to mention a couple of things you missed.
You can guard almost immediately after jumping so this can be used with just guard to stay in bosses faces and keep the dps flowing without having to dodge away from it’s attacks.
Sword attacks on the ground can cancel directly into guard, again useful for laying on that dps.
Thanks. I started off the game as a ranger, so it took me a while to even start experimenting because they can’t guard and their dodge has so much recovery time, and can’t be cancelled into the same way. I started picking things up a little after playing as a Force, and I’ve only just recently started playing as a hunter (haven’t even beaten the rockbear yet), so I’ve hardly used the ability to guard at all.
What do you mean by DPS?
Damage per second, don’t need to get too serious about it or anthing, but just a little thing to consider especially when just guard is so easy in this game and lets you stay up in monster’s grills.
(Hunter skill tree skill, basicly turns well timed guards into parries which not only nullify all damage and pushback against you but hurt anything in front of you and costs no pp to keep blocking with, with a timing window that’s ridiculously wide open to do this in)
Can’t wait for the US release.
Didn’t bother looking at any guides since I believe it was stated that foreign accounts are getting wiped after the international release.
