please that netcode is shitty. Man Ive had nothing but bad matches and im wired.
damn doesn’t appear to be too much of an improvement over DRO.
would any1 say its better than DRO?
i used 2 play DRO and it seemed like the more you played the better it got so i wonder if its tha same. still havent T6 myself yet
It is somewhat better than DRO, but not much sadly
I feel that it is worse, at least with DRO you would have some decent matches, from time to time, I have yet to play a good match online, there is at least on average 10 frames of lag. and this is from people with green and teal connections =(
isn’t me or the matches are laggy cuz i try to dash around or side step and its moving slow, also i try to jab and comes out 1 or 2 seconds later.
the netcode for tekken 6 is bad =( its not just you man
the netcode is very random I am finding out while playing through the ranking matches. sometimes its great, no lag. during promotion matches it can be laggy for some odd reason. I hate how your matched up with people with 1 bar instead of having the chance to boot them like in SF4. also another thing is sometimes it will dc you while matching you with someone which is very annoying. I got to play like 5 matches last night and then just said screw it and completed the whole story mode within 4 hours. Was really long and now the story is completely messed up haha.
this if fucking horrible. mvc2 and scIV are WAY better. mashing scrubs win…I can’t even do the simplest of combos.
though somehow this lars was doing combos to me fine while everything for me lagged like 1 sec.
awful
Yah, net code is bad, but I’m having other issues.
Has anybody had any problems with connecting to a particular person?
A buddy and me have tried numerous times over the past 3 nights to play a game together.
No matter who invites, it’s the same result. It connects to some room, not showing the friend, and then says the connection has been lost.
We’re both on NAT2. I’ve tried forwarding all port, and DMZ. Same deal…
When I create a lobby, it doesn’t show up on his list and vice versa. We are both able to have people join our lobbies, and join lobbies no problem. Even quickplay works fine.
It seems that the game doesn’t want us to play… grrr
It’s pretty bad.
The best connections even have slight delay…still enjoyable for me, but there and just annoys me when I see a whiff and go to punish, but am too late, or just don’t block something in time. Though, oddly enough, I played a friend and one match was basically offline-like…was super smooth.
Eh…I just decided to grow used to it and play with friends. That way, I know what I’m getting myself into connection-wise. Good deal of the issue is netcode, but I think a lot of it is also just America’s general subpar connections. Dunno…wonder how it is over in Japan.
If you DMZ the PS3, you should be Nat 1, if not, your DMZing the wrong IP address. If one of you can get to nat type 1, then that person should host and invite, you both being NAT 2 is the problem.
Yah, I figured the DMZ wasn’t going through correctly.
According to the ps3, the IP ends in 100. That’s the IP I’ve been DMZing, and still NAT2. I’ve reboot the router every time.
Also, forgot to mention. We’ve never had connection problems with each other. That includes SF4, KOF12, Blaz, HDR, sports and FPS.
man this ranking system blows. I was at mentor, I lost to 2 4th Dan’s then I beat 3 Rogues. I still don’t get promoted then someone left during the match and I got penalized for it and now I got demoted to fucking 4th Dan again. I hate this net code, and according to the ranking board why do I have a higher win percentage then people who are way higher rank then me. Wish Namco would fix this crap.
T6 BRO
Its impossible to beat button mashers. if you wanna win though, just do Kazuya uf 4444 over and over. Blocking that and Lee’s d 4444 is like trying to block an Eddie unblockable in Guilty gear. I don’t understand how anybody is saying this is playable??? Even on BEST connection, its hard to instant tech roll, let alone play.
KOF12 and Tekken 6br fucking ruining things all over the place, pissing people off.
Fuck tekken force mode, I couldn’t stand it more than 10 minutes.
Yeah it got to the point where people were rage quitting when I was winning with Alisa that I would take the hit. I lost 2 ranks because of the penalty and I gave up, hopefully Gamestop will let me return this pos game. I thought it would give SF a run for its money, but Tekken 6 failed so bad.
Capcom > Namco again!
It’s amazing how it’s 2009 and the netcode on these games seems like something from 1999.
the lag is ok… :wonder:
its just a step above DRO and a few steps back from SF4:wgrin:
SF4>>>T6O>DRO. thats how i see it.
I’ve played about 400 matches on DRO and 60 on BRO. I’d say they’re pretty comparable. Maybe BRO is tad bit better because I have yet to have matches like I’ve had in DRO where it completely freezes for a few seconds. But, yeah it’s bad. I’ve played some local friends and there’s still about a half to full second delay.
If you got used to the lag in DRO and can put up with mashers and people who abuse lag-friendly moves/characters it’s playable lol. Otherwise just wait until the patch comes out. I’m putting off anymore games online until it comes out.
I still find this game crack otherwise, probably going to play it until SSF4 comes out.
Not the best but nowhere near like KOFXll bad!
If I play 10 matches in 30 min or something 1-2 will crap out for me.
