Is that site legitimate? I haven’t seen this posted on any other game news site. I saw some info posted about lulzsec claiming they were in the process of hacking Sony, but nothing else since.

PC World and Washington Post legit enough?
Thanx for the update. Answers my questions about AE DLC, the Welcome Back program, and the PSN store.
I would have preferred a $20 credit to spend in the PSN store versus being able to download old games, some I already have. WIth a $10 or 20 credit, some may have been enticed to buy more when they looked around the store.

Definitely! I took about an hour just to get my stuff because of all the traffic. I got all the games since I have alternate accounts, but I’ll wait on Plus till the 5th. That way, I’m guaranteed to not get locked out of the Uncharted 3 beta once the subscription ends.
Ah, ok, I didn’t know that and usually papers here with Star in them are tabloids. BTW, I still haven’t seen this story posted at any of the usual game sites, maybe they’re just too busy with E3 around the corner. I certainly hope this isn’t legitimate. I’m tired of having to change my passwords, and if PSN gets targeted again I’ll be really annoyed.
I’m going to wait until after this weekend to move in with the PS+ and free game deals. Its just too busy now, some of my friends got errors where they no longer had access to their 2nd game choice or have hideous lag downloading stuff. I don’t want to accidentally use my money before AE comes out.
I actually lost access to one of my free games as well. However, you can recover it. Go to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotion. It will bring up a list that should look something like this:
Welcome Back: Free PS3 Game 1
Welcome Back: Free PS3 Game 2
Welcome Back: Free PSP Game 1
Welcome Back: Free PSP Game 2
All you have to do is select whichever game you got nerfd on and then it will allow you to select a game you want from the list. In my case, I lost PS3 Game 1. All I did was select it from that list and then it let me choose the content I wanted for that particular voucher spot. Please pass that along to your friends xD
I’ve gone to the service list and I don’t get SCEA promotion. Just PSN+, a beta and Wipeout.
Hmm that’s really odd. I’ve never heard of that happening before. So far, whenever someone loses a freebie, they just use that same method and are able to recover it. May have to take this one up with Sony 
I’m not going to worry about it yet. I managed to sneak in InFamous from my alternative account during a period when PSN wasn’t being buggy. I’ll give it til Monday to download the games from my main account.

Anyone pick up Dead Nation? How is it? I was thinking about DN and Super, since I’d just end up getting LBP2 when it comes out and I’d rather get Wipeout on disc.
I got Dead Nation when it first released, and honestly, I wasn’t very impressed and dropped the game within only a few days. In terms of visuals, DN is pretty nice to look at(when you can see, anyway). The lighting is pretty dim throughout the entire game; in fact, some areas you’ll find are pitch black. You do have a flashlight, but it would seem like you also have dying batteries since even zombies coming right at you are hard to spot. The cone of light is pretty small and only lets you see maybe a few feet in front of you at best, and that’s not very useful considering you usually have waves of zombies incoming from all directions.
You’ll also discover that the camera is your worst enemy. The camera sits very far above the field, leaving you with relatively small targets to shoot, not to mention the aiming in the game is very jumpy. Combine that squirrely aiming with small targets from your helicopter camera and you’re going to have one hell of a time hitting damn near anything with consistancy.
Nothing about the game is unique. In fact, with enemies such as the Boomer, Spitter, and Tank, you’ll swear you’ve seen this somewhere before(Left 4 Dead). In fact, even the level designs are generic and sometimes copy n’ pastes from more popular zombie games(Once again, L4D). It’s pretty much your standard top down shooter in a time with just too many other games that offer the exact same experience or better(mostly better). With a generic 10-level campaign, the game tends to get very repetitive, very fast. If you somehow manage to fight through all these negative aspects hindering the overall gameplay, you won’t be left with much to do after beating campaign. The game has almost no replay value whatsoever unless you want to suffer through it all over again just to try getting a better score. Online is also bland, leaving so much more to be desired. If you manage to find a partner for co-op, you’ll probably experience loads of lag and disconnects before even reaching a checkpoint. You’re better off with the offline multiplayer mode, trust me xD
Super Stardust on the other hand is a great game. It’s highly addictive and has stunning visuals. I had a lot of fun with it and still play it occasionally, despite the game being pretty old. It’s just that fun x)
Edit: If you don’t already have inFamous, I might suggest giving it a look as well. But since you’d rather get Wipeout HD on disc rather than downloading it, I’m going to assume you want to preserve some hardrive space lol And inFamous comes out at about 7 gb. However, I have Wipeout HD(and love it, by the way!), and it only comes out to 1.8 gb.
