I’m guessing he’s jandek-ross

Notable mention to Blood_Sel for being most improved intermediate-beginner over the past year.
I met Blood_Sel at Hooters. Nicest guy in the world
Yeah blood_sel is really cool.
A little compilation of my past two days on PSN.
Yeah jandek-hoss. I do ok when I am patient and smart but I still fall prey to guessing too much even though I know I shouldn’t.

I wish I could react like you do with parrying. Feels like I hit a wall that I’ll never be able to scale. lol
My reactions don’t have much to do with it. It has more to do with how you hold the ball top more than anything. Parrying is much easier.
Experience with the rhythm is also important.
I don’t think I could spend 40
I find it hard to believe that JB_QU3ST used to give me so much trouble a few months ago. Dude never adapts or learns from anything.
On an urelated note, BLOODURIEN’s Ibuki is very scary.
GGs to jandek.
Please, someone share with me the secrets to defeating Teen Hearts.
Teen plays a very poke-> mixup style which is something Ruu and Namijin tend to implement. Ex: Poke here, throw. Poke here -> block strings.
It’s an outdated approach since it leaves a lot of room to buffer a parry and punish heavily. Small damage with a lot of commitment is not scary.
Anybody here playing on PS4? What sticks work? Any PS3 ones? Thanks in advance.

I just played against the JB QUEST today
Got an A and then an A++ ranking on him. I didn’t record the second game because I doubted myself thinking I wasn’t gonna get perfect on him
I got a perfect on him :bawling:

I just stand completely still and punish his flowchart nonsense. Dude always goes for c. foward into DP with the occasional mashed SA.

WTF is this suppose to mean???
Too many low damaging block strings.
He prefers to play an extremely fast playstyle as well. Just gotta make him play at a slower, methodical pace.
How should I punish Teen’s Ryu if I’m playing Q, though? He puts on way too much pressure and I just…crack. Teching throws seems to be a little weird for me, too. How exact do I have to be with the timing on that?
I remember playing a bit better in later rounds since I took it slower, but he’s definitely still hella good. Haven’t tried a character other than Q on him, yet, but I’ve no doubt that it wouldn’t make a significant difference.
