There’s a very common pattern he goes for;flowchart setups with EX vipers. Way too aggressive so I just wait for him to commit a mistake or a general pattern I see coming and punish.
Pretty much that. His playstyle is predicated on keeping his offense mostly seamless. Either find the gap in the gameplay or force him to play at a slower, more methodical pace, one that does not favor his frenetic style.
Well, I managed to beat his Hugo with Ibuki. Not exactly the fairest matchup for him but I can now say I’m 1-25(?) against him! Couldn’t really touch his Alex or Yun worth a shit, though.
Regarding another PSN player who I see quite frequently, what do you guys think of IronManCombos?
Nah, just wanted to confirm that I’m not the only guy he avoids due to me beating him a few times. I’d totally excuse it if there was crippling lag, but the connection is usually pretty fine on my end and he still pulls off combos that I see in his replays.
Who are you on PSN, @Lamperouge ? Played a lot of people. Good connections are rare for me, unfortunately, so I only remember the two or three guys I played who had them.
Man I’m glad to know that iron man does that to everyone…its very weird he doesn’t even hesitate he’s is out immediately. I have played omega quite a few times recently.
I just got betterr internet and while the connection is way faster I have had it seems to drop a few games unfortunately (xfinity, I’m wired)
I too use Xfinity, and encountered the same issues until I set the gateway they sent into bridged mode and used my own Netgear as my modem. Allows for port forwarding, which helps with online gaming in general, as the gateway they send can’t forward any ports.
