PlayStation Network Error, Could Be Down ?A Full Day Or Two? MTV Multiplayer
Hope something good comes out of this, like a major overhaul so we can get some good games going that’s at least on par with x360 :).
Shitty for people that play alot but doesn’t affect me that much.
Been wondering also, which is funny since MK9 just came out and online just shuts off. I would guess it’s either the crappy online features and its free so they’re taking their time to fix it. Or it’s some update that will require at least an hour or two to download using the crappy psn connection in which case you’ll to be there the entire fucking time since it closes out on you and you have to re download it again but thankfully it goes through the parts you already down loaded faster instead of completely starting over. Most I ever had to wait with the 360 is 15minutes, typically under 5 for what takes half an hour for most downloads on psn. Meh, whatever.
PSN is still offline. I must be addicted to Super Street Fighter IV in some way. I’m actually playing a lot against the CPU opponent because I can’t get online. Haven’t done that in a year. And the weather outside is great too…
it had already confirmed it was hackers so now all we can do is wait
GGPO is not safe, either. 
Meh, I played story mode, got far in tower, but not playing as much MK9, for the most part I already know more than enough to win online but making others lose is more fun.
Lets be patient. Sony is working hard to resolve the situation.

I’ve been having issues for over a week now and judging by this it’s gonna be a while before it’s resolved. This is beyond ridiculous, makes me actually consider getting an x-box.
At least there’s no input delay in MK9’s training mode.
How often does PSN go down? This is the first time I see a huge outage. No reason for you to be “Considering a 360.”
Simple reason-I wanna play online. Lets say this takes weeks or even months, is that ok just cause it’s free? What about when ae drops? I’m assuming we won’t be able to download it till this issue is resolved. Btw, I did say I’m only “considering” getting a 360.
1: It will never take months to get server restore.
2: While this is free and premium. They are updating the server (upgrading it).
3. This gives you an opportunity to train offline (don’t rely online to improve your game play).
4. Even if something is released within a week for DLC. You’ll get it. No reason to rush. Lets be patient. Impatient will get you nowhere in life.
I stream Marvel vs Capcom 2, Arcana Heart 3, FPS games for PSN wise. Get users to interact, participate the stream by joining the room, do online tournament with prizes and I am patient with it. Everyone is asking me to do a live stream for PSN wise.
This open an opportunity for Sony to improve their server to the community. Which is a + for everyone.

:wtf: I swear some people are so impatient, it sounds like a lot of gamers are going through a withdrawal from an addiction. Hell, this may be a good thing for most of them. Go outside, take a walk, feel the sun, talk to some girls, go to the beach and relax or just do something constructive. If you’re getting angry about 4 or 5 days without games, then I think the problem lies more with your lack of having a social life.
Besides, doesn’t the majority of gamers complain about lag and net codes in fighting games anyways? Why not play offline with some friends, or does this simply go back to the statement I made earlier about the lack of many gamers having a real social life? As G0F0RBR0KE has stated: “This open an opportunity for Sony to improve their server to the community”, I’d also like to add that PSN is a free service so it’s pretty childish to rant and feel that they owe us anything for this… dood.
