PS360+ Xbox mode not working properly

@Phreakazoid‌ I tied two inputs to one button and hammered 100% of the inputs came through. When I saw that wondered if it was execution. So I started pressing two buttons together slowly to make sure I did it perfectly and it still splits some randomly.

“randomly” ends up meaning just like I said, it’s dancing on a poll, and if your second button press is slow (how slow. I dunno), it “splits” the input, which really means that your first press is getting reported and THEN the second button is getting reported.

This is proved by tying the two inputs to one button, which 100% guarantees simultaneous press. A fix would probably be something like a looped poll for x milliseconds to loosen that timing up so that all buttons get sent in the same report.

The guy in the initial post was doing FFF, I bet if he swapped the input to using the macros like 3P to do the feint that problem would disappear for him. Since hammering so fast it’s probably hitting that odd poll where he thinks it’s simultaneous but it’s not, at least on a small scale anyway.

Just wanted to update everyone. I emailed Akishop about the issue and linked them to this thread. It seems that they are aware of the issue, and are looking into it with a possible fix. Their response:

“We had some people telling us about it, that is why we are looking into it.
Hopefully we will present a simple patch soon, we will upload it on the website as normal.
Sorry for the wait.”

Hopefully it will be fixed soon and thanks @"Four Wude"‌ for getting their attention.

I I’ve got 2 p360s in a Saturn twin stick. I’ll hook it up to sf4 when I get home and see what my results are. It’s possible it happens to me as well, as I have had some interesting feeling issues with it, but I usually chalk that up to the sick using semitsu parts that I’m not as well used to

I got my PS360+ a few months ago but never noticed this issue with the 360 mode until I got AE on Steam last week when it was on sale. Glad to know Akishop is finally looking into a fix.

Also, the ps360+ will randomly drop plinks as well. Ive only tested this on umvc3 on 360, but its very consistant, and ive confirmed it with 4 different sticks. The easiest way to verify is to just plink dash, and it will randomly drop. Its very easy to dismiss this as possible execution error, but this simply isnt an execution error. Ill do 1000 in a row on any other stick, and plug in a ps360+ and all the sudden i cant do 10. Shame, seeing as how 2 of the sticks i tested are mine. They are pretty much paper weights now, as i just assume lose to my opponent and NOT my stick. Hopefully they fix this.

Great to see several people reporting this! Also, be sure to do your part and email them directly. You can reach them at contact@akishop-customs.com

I made an account, just to tell all of you I’ve had the same exact problems since I switched to my Hitbox. (Ps360+) I’ve kept trying different buttons thinking that was the issue, because I can’t plink consistently on that thing no matter what. It’s extremely random whenever it works or not. Very frustrating when I have the exact timing for a combo, but the plink goes as 2 seperate inputs, giving me the unintended button. Yet then id go onto my TE, and not drop any plinks at all.

Tell me about it, this issue is so frustrating. I am currently using a MCZ fightstick, though I’d much rather be using my modded Atrox. I am really hoping they can launch a patch before CEO. Would be sad if I couldn’t use my stick for CEO and EVO.

I wish plinking would go away all together but, hey, I’m a scrub.

At least with the PS4 Plinking would be impossible, no select

Wow … ! Thanks so much, Z!
This is exactly what I’ve been having! I ordered and built my gear with a PS360+ directly from Aki last year and since the beginning it drops EXes randomly. I checked all forums and posts and I got one or two similar reports but most guys questioned about wires, cables, QDs, etc. Re-flashed it a few times already too. No solution at all. I just thought I’m one of the unlucky few and lived with it … and no … it’s not livable at all.
I am still having the exactly same things. Funny that sometimes the drops can happen 4, 5 same-time presses in a roll, and sometimes in a few game it does act up at all. And it’s crazy that in training mode it doesn’t seem to have any problem at all.

And YES IT’S BEEN DRIVING ME INSANE TOO!

EDIT:
Oh, thanks, guys! Hope Aki will fix it soon … just keep thinking how come there’s no noise until now …

It’s upsetting that EVO is next week and there is still no fix in sight. Sigh…

I’m pretty depressed that I paid 220 dollars for a Hitbox, spent 6 months getting used to the layout, and being frustrated dropping plinks. The whole time I believed it was my own error, only to find out it’s not and I can’t do anything about it. None of the other dual mods have the right Socd cleaning either. How is it that so many people use this PCB and haven’t noticed this? It’s ruining my ability to play characters with links, which happen to be every character I play -_- also, can’t even do 10 plink dashes in marvel…

some people consider Plinks a exploit cheat

I think you are thinking of select plinking.

I was almost going to add a note about that. Yes it may be an exploit, but I shouldn’t have difficulty doing it because my PCB is messed up. Nearly every Marvel player plink dashes. Just like any other tactic people use in fighting games. Even Smash players use “exploited” tactics, like Wavedashing.

Regardless of the integrity of glitches and exploits, they are used in high level competition, and it’s important to be able to execute them correctly. Unfortunately, this cannot be done with the PS360+ in its current form.

SO THE WHOLE FGC IS LIKE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, EVERYONE USING STEROIDS/CHEATING?!
