just curious if anyone might know the reason/s why the pcb would disconnect/reboot at random times and in random intervals? atm mine is in a fightstick pro (Ver. 1.65_Saturn_NoMacros ) with the usb soldered onto the pcb. I have also soldered player LED’s using the additional cables one can buy for it.
My mate’s been having the same issue as well, and would like to maybe find a solution to it before a tourney in may
This might be a shot in the dark, but… are you playing on PS4? The PS360+ only holds a connection for 8 minutes before it is forced to disconnect, due to the PS4’s bluetooth authentication (or rather the PS360+'s lack of it).
nope, this was happening while on a 360. it happens on pc aswell now that i think about it, havent tried it for ps3 and im probably just going to get a ps4 stick instead of using the ps360+.
as an example, was playing KoF XIII last night and a bit this morn with some mates and the controller would stop working then regain itself, then happen again between 10-30 secs from the previous disconnect then would be fine for a good 3 mins then d/c, much inconsistency there is
Sounds like a bad USB connection caused by either a damaged cable, poor soldering, or a problem with the pcb.
Use a multimeter to probe for faults. IMO your first point of call would be to plug in a new USB cable into the PS360+ USB jack and test it from there.
I’ve sort of had this problem too. There are times where my stick will work on PC fine but then an hour later when I try to use it again it won’t connect unless I uninstall the drivers and reconnect. After about eight hours of playing on the PS3 it DC’d but I just have to reconnect it to make it work
Just a disclaimer: i love the thing and it works most of the time. I figure I may have gotten a faulty one (it happens) and customer support has offered to replace it. I declined a replacement because it’s not that big ofa deal to me
I plan on buying another board for an upcoming project
You might want a new USB cable, fixed my problem. Got one from Frys for like $, it’s good and long. Office supply stores and Best Buy are way more expensive on the other hand.
