I have been trying for a couple days now to get my PS360+ updated and I’ve been having some issues. Whenever I attempt to update the driver for the board by manually pointing it to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Atmel\Flip 3.4.7\usb I get a message that says “Windows could not find driver software for your device”. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried searching for different keywords here and elsewhere to no avail. I’m trying to update it on Windows 7 Professional if that helps. Thanks.
I had this problem too. I fixed it by uninstalling FLIP first and then go into device manager and uninstalled the device completely from there. Once you do that, the driver should work.
I’ve tried to do that a few times now and it still doesn’t seem to work, thanks for the advice though.
I forgot to mention that after you uninstall the device in Device Manager, you need to shut down the PC and turn it back on.
What does it say when you go into the Device Manager and try to update the driver, you have to do it manually and point to the FLIP installation folder. For Win7 pro you NEED 3.4.7 which you do so you should be good there.
I had a bit of difficulty at one point but eventually got the driver to update through device manager OK.
I ended up installing Linux and updating it that way.
