PS3 Hori FS3 won't connect?

Read through the other threads but didn’t see anyone else having this issue. I bought a Hori FS3 a few months ago and it worked with no issues out of the box with my PS3/PC. I stopped using it shortly after and after picking up STHD for the PS3 I figured it was time to bust it out again.

However, since the last time I used it something has changed. When I plug in the stick it no longer registers as being plugged in. The stick receives power (I can play with the turbo function, etc.), but with the PS3 there is no functionality and it does not display in my device manager USB section when plugged into my PC. I’m really not sure what the issue could be.

If anyone could shed some light on this I’d greatly appreciate it. I’ve spent a while poking around the internet trying to find anyone with this issue but have had no luck so far.

Honestly I’m assuming it’s an issue with the board having a loose wire but the stick hasn’t even been used that much and I’m not sure what to do!

owned davion

damn,

Congrats… you now know why the majority of the people here consider the FS3 to be the worst stick Hori has ever made.

Well can you tell me what the obvious issue is that makes this such a well known piece of shit?

I want to know this too, as I was looking to buy this stick.

LukeF, any chance you could link some pics of the inside? It’s a long shot, but if there’s something like a loose/ bad connection someone might be able to spot it…
