Ps3 Fight sticks working on PC

After doing a bunch of research online on what fight stick I should get, I think I’ve settled on getting the Street Fighter X Tekken - Arcade FightStick™ V.S. for PlayStation®3. It’s 60 bucks off on their site right now, and for the price, seems better than any other ones on the market from what I can see. (The Pro version is 60 bucks cheaper, but I think i’ll like the heavier style).

So my question after all of this though is whether or not there is a current workaround to getting it to work on a non intel motherboard? I have an AMD (really high end computer, bought a year and a half ago [I know that’s an oxymoron]) chipset. I’ve heard conflicting stories, that MC corrected this PCB issue, and some have it working, others say it didn’t work on their PCs (in reviews). Anybody have a definitive answer?

Thanks guys****

By the way, section 13 of the FAQ on modding a stick for another system is a dead link

Newer MadCatz Arcade sticks do not have the issue the Round 1 and Round 2 sticks did.
The new V.S.,Pro and TE-S+ for the PS3 has no PC issues

Much appreciated!
